I was so taken aback as l am a poc and used to struggle with wanting to white wash myself

hello twin <3 thank you sm for reaching out to me! i also get hate comments sometimes! i feel like i’m very sensitive abt stuff and i’m trying to be better about it 😭

i’m not poc, but i have seen a lot of people commenting about whitewashing specifically in the jjk art community! the show takes place in japan, so ofc the characters will look asian! blurring the lines between putting something like that into your art and it being a personal struggle is so understandable, but these characters are asian, and so beloved, and that’s something to celebrate!! it’s all about uplifting and celebrating these beautiful characters of color!
