Pipey Friends and More

Not the most flattering angle, but I found something to do with the random craft supplies at my aunt's condo while surrounded by small children.

I do wish I had more light lavendar to use for the body and more fluffy brown to use for the hair, but that's life.

Last commission of Anthrocon (aside from the take-homes I’ll be posting later), this Azelf was for Nonsense. It was a little tricky, that head shape is not easy to get your mind around, but I think it turned out okay!

I was missing my usual table Charizard, and someone actually asked for one without even seeing it there! I think it was a friend of Nonsense, since he paid for it, and she came to pick it up later.

My mom saw the little fire monkey I’d made, and commissioned a non-fire version of it to give to her date that night, who likes monkeys.

These matching reindeer/caribou are Sugar and Spice! They’re a fun little pair that were commissioned by Dragongoddest, aka Kida aka Shandra (who also bought my Toothless from the art show!)

I met a new mewtwo at Anthrocon today! He’s actually two mewtwos rolled into one, and he joined the club by getting a pipey of each :3 As is my tradition when making a shiny pokemon, I used tinsel stems on that green tail.

This was not a new work for me, but a customer returning from last year- he had bought my Baker scarf, but had not yet assembled his 4th Doctor cosplay. This is him with it all ready! Cool stuff!

My second commission of Anthrocon was actually a knitting commission! Granda Kage came by and liked my knitted items, and wanted this little pouch to keep her bluetooth earpiece in, so it would stop getting lost in her purse. I gave it a little strap-loop to keep on a keychain.

Hey, so it turns out I had forgotten to upload my work from Anthrocon this year! Whoops! My first commission of the con was for repeat customer @doctorsklee  who had a new Sklee character to make a pipey of. These little guys are always so cute!!

This was my last commission of MFF, for Kisa/Kyler who I think may have been with Cyrus? She’s a cute snow leopard character with horns and very specific spots. I had fun with her, and had her do that tail-biting thing that some snow leopards do. Not an easy pose to pull off in sculpture, but sometimes you just gotta push the envelope.

Somebody was passing by and saw the pink (SU) Lion display pipey I had out, and thought it was really cool- because they had a majestic lion character that would do well in that size too! So here it is.

This was a fun pet portrait for Drenthe coon, of his old basset hound who will stand in his food bowl to make a point of how empty it is.
