She shrugged softly. “I was in a hospital, you were scared. I probably would have lied too.”

Piper smiled small and nodded. “Thanks, Toby.. and thank you for telling me the truth.”

“Does this mean I need to get a leather jacket and push up my boobs?” She joked, smiling small before laughing at Toby. “Ah, yes. My lesbian lover..”

“I just want my best friend back. Not the dick of a replacement I got. I just thought he liked me.” She shook her head and sighed, laying back in the grass. “He’ll realize it sooner or later and then it wont be a problem anymore. Maybe I’ll break his foot so he can’t go and then I can go instead.”

Piper smiled slightly at the sight of the baby. “Wow..” She swallowed and hugged her friend, sighing. “If it makes you feel any better.. I tried the whole seducing thing and he hasn’t come to see me since.” She bit her lip and sighed. “Boys are morons. That’s how it’s always going to be until the end of time. I’m just irritated because he still wont come to see me. All I have is an angry text thread.” She gently played with Toby’s hair. “If Micah doesn’t end up going.. could I maybe go?”

A million questions were running through her head now as she wiped her hands on her skirt before she got up quietly. “Micah has a girlfriend?” Was the first question that popped out of her mouth before she shook her head and sat next to the blonde, wrapping her arms around her. “Is she pretty? The baby, I mean.”
