So a lot of people have heard about the “Thousands to be knocked off of the internet Monday, July 9th 2012” story.
I have an important message that NEEDS to be spread around tumblr, skype, MSN, etc. to save yourself before Monday comes around. The article I just read states that over 277,000 people worldwide are still infected with the malware. People who have computers that are still infected by Monday, July 9th at 12:01 AM will get their internet service cut off and have to call their internet service provider to get it removed from their computer.

I know that it's attention-whore-ish for posting this, but I really needed to get it off my chest... He never calls me or visits me anyway... I love my dad, but I don't respect him... He's known for holding grudges and lying, too... I'm sorry, I just really needed to vent...))
There’s a bird on my porch and I can’t tell what kind it is… My mom and I think it’s sick, though, because it didn’t fly away when I went to get a closer look. It just watched me. We think it was attacked by another bird and escaped to our porch to hide. It’s sitting on the back of our bench and appears to be napping… It looks at me every time I look at it, but it doesn’t seem bothered… Poor thing. :c
It’s gray with black streaks, a black cap, gray cheeks, a white circle around its eyes, a short, flat-ish wide beak and grayish legs… Sorry for the poor quality of the pictures, but I took them from inside my house.
Does anyone know what kind of bird this is?

Cracking off my ((ooc brackets)) for a minute. If the last ask was any indicator, I’ve gotten a lot of asks lately of people wanting hugs from Fef, some just “hug?” varying to very serious situations. They have left me heartbroken. I am aware that I have a voice in the community, so I’m taking a minute to use it.
I was diagnosed with Depression two years ago. It was something I had dealt with my whole life, and for twenty years I thought something was wrong with me, that I was a reject. I wouldn’t reach out to be held, even though that’s what I sorely needed. The first step is to ask. Many of you have been brave and asked me- or asked Feferi. But now it’s important to reach out to those around you! I thought I had no one left in the world, and I was all alone. And something amazing happened when I just started asking people for hugs. They gave them! Even my buddy Ian, who is a tough guy the size of a refrigerator, bent down to hug me, and it was one of the best hugs I’d ever gotten. Now that I’m recovered, it’s amazing to me now to hear my own voice, my own words from a few years ago crying to me. I remember feeling that way. And let me tell you from experience, that the world is beautiful. I have hit bottom, and I have come out of it.
I run this ask blog, partially to bring people smiles, even if the posts are sad. Sometimes it’s important to feel, when everything feels so numb. I guess what I’m saying is, if you don’t want to hear it from me, hear it from Fef, to please reach out. You are NOT alone. If no one else hears you, I hear you from across the sea. I care about all of you, and hearing your voices in pain makes me feel pain.
There IS hope and there IS help out there.
Here are some US resources- but I know searching about Google will crop up international numbers for your country. Do NOT be afraid to call them up. Sometimes it can be nice just to hear a voice.
I cannot stress how important this is to me. Even if I don’t respond to every note, please know that I have heard you. Your voice is not lost, and to always, always keep speaking. Keep reaching out to people. We’re here waiting to catch you.

A lot of people ask me for Aradia’s hugs too, sadly I can’t draw them all.
I know that doesn’t mean they’re sad or anything, but I have also receive a few sad messages. I’m not really good with words, neither I’m good at supporting people since I’m not the most emphatic person.
But Lilly put some really nice words there, and her intentions are more than good, so if there’s something I can do, it’s spread that word. My blog may not be the biggest around, but if there’s the slightest chance that this will manage to get to at least 1 person who needs it, then I think it’s worth reblogging it. (:
