Do I wish there was more representation for LGBTQ+ actors and characters in Hollywood?

Yes.

Am I mad that Cate Blanchett, a straight cis-gendered female, often plays the roles of lesbian characters?

No.

If anyone were to play these characters I’m glad it’s a woman who is so good at acting that the public has often questioned her sexual orientation. I’m glad it’s someone who strongly supports the community, who agrees that there should be more representation.

Would I like there to be more actors who are actually a part of the community acting in these roles?
