Apparently toons have been working on a remote control designed to make cogs hurt other cogs.

That’s absolutely evil.

I probably don’t have much room to speak considering people’d think I’m forcing gag tolerance on other cogs and you know what? Fair. But I’m a bad person, not an evil one. There are limits. I have standards.

Cogs deserve the basic right of choice. Yeah, I’m trying to give cogs tolerance they never asked for, and they become capable of potentially hurting other cogs, but I don’t force them to hurt others nor would I force any of them to work with me after I give them any form of tolerance.

The choices a cog makes should be thier own choices, doesn’t matter if they’re good or bad.

This isn’t just a toon problem though. Cog Nation’s eager to find ways to whip more… Noncompliant cogs into shape, and this tech could be thier ticket to full control. I don’t doubt for a single second that Cog Nation will be on that shit the second they manage to snag one of those remotes.

Both parties will kill off the freedom of choice.

Another level of shit, if Cog Nation finds a way to crack this and makes something that doesn’t drain health in the process, then toons accidentally made more coggish cogs.

Nothing good can come from the remotes, and they need to be stomped out, but I also know I’m 100% getting my hands on one of them. There’s a lot to unpack… The way it drains a cog’s health is something that strikes me slightly more than how it gets into cogs.

Does the remote sap health by being a virus harming vital operations, or does the act of doing inherently toony things hurt the cog doing those actions? That’s the kinda shit that could tell me so much…

I don’t know if I could even bring myself to actually experiment with other cogs with that… I’m willing to let Chuck use it on me; I want to know what it feels like at least. I’m mostly gag tolerant though, so I don’t know if that’d get in the way…. And I think the only way I’d get the full picture would be experimenting on other cogs… Which I won’t do…
