So NOBODY else thinks Kiyo killed Rantaroās sisters??? Like, I get itās a pretty wild theory, but itās one I came up with all the way back when I played v3 for the first time, and after all these years (admittedly not searching for it) I havenāt seen a single other person consider it.
1. Two characters whose backstories heavily involve sisters
2. Two characters who are known to travel all over the world
3. One character who is missing his sisters, one who kills girls for his sisters
4. Due to all of these, it is entirely possible that while Rantaro was losing his sisters during his travels, Kiyo was killing them during HIS travels. (It makes sense that in order for Kiyo to get away with being a serial killer, heād be traveling a lot right? He wasnāt exactly a pro at getting away with kills so I canāt imagine any other explanation)
5. Of course that would be incredibly unlikely, HOWEVER. Their backstories are likely fabricated, and even if they arenāt, they are still (in our world) fictional characters from freaking danganronpa which isnāt a series exactly known for making everything perfectly logical with no convenient coincidences.
6. Basically what Iām saying is, it is WEIRD to have this many coincidences in this fictional setting. People like to pair up the two characters because of these similarities but I just genuinely canāt shake the feeling that there is a far more sinister interpretation of these coincidences.
7. No seriously youāre telling me the guy who travels the world and brags about killing girls for his sister is in the same game as the guy who travels the world and mysteriously loses a sister every timeā¦ and Iām supposed to think NOTHING of it?
8. These arenāt even different points why am I making a numbered list. Anyways you can always easily argue against this theory cuz itās absolutely ridiculous but Iām JUST SAYING. Itās ridiculous if it means NOTHING too imo. Remember this is all FICTION, potentially EVEN IN CANON.
9. Speaking of their backstories possibly being canonically fictional, yes that means Kiyo possibly didnāt ACTUALLY kill anyone (other than Angie and Tenko). But itās absolutely possible that IN THEIR MADE UP BACKSTORIES, he was MEANT to be the one killing Rantaroās (possibly nonexistent) sisters.
10. Idk itās just weird that thereās no explanation for Rantaro losing MANY sisters.. in the same game with a serial Sister Killer (yes that name is misleading but itās WEIRD theyāre both heavily related to SISTERS!!!) who could very easily have an explanation for how heās all over the world just like Rantaroās sisters (anthropology journey!!!)
11. Iām not saying Kiyo is deliberately following Rantaro around the world to pick off his sisters one by one Iām JUST SAYING itās ENTIRELY POSSIBLE that heās been killing them by PURE COINCIDENCE
12. Basically: YES this theory is very wild, NO I canāt convince myself itās not true. You can choose to not believe it but Iām just sayingā¦ think about itā¦ weird huh
