Definitely do like the stuff you've teased for your season 2 of TDI 2023 rewrite so far (such as giving a bit more reason on why Emma still isn't in a mood to reconcile with Bowie despite finding out he was right about Chase with his actions in sabotaging Priya/Millie's friendship lowering Emma's opinion of him).

Hey everyone! Total Drama Island: Hard Reboot has been on hold for a bit cause of school. But now that I’ve graduated, I have all the time in the world!
I have outlined most of the story! All the challenges are set in stone. I know who’s allying with who. I know which ships are endgame. But there is one biiiig change that I’m making…
All episodes will be split up into two chapters
As I drafted the first two episodes, I noticed just how long they were. But there was no content I wanted to cut. All the interactions were important. That’s when I realized I didn’t have to stick to the 22-minute format of a standard TD episode. I’m not an editor for a reality show. I’m a fic writer! I can give every character an arc no matter how long they stay on the show!
So the format for the compfic will be:
Odd number chapters are the intro/recap, character interactions in the morning, and beginning of the challenge.
Even number chapters are the rest of the challenge, the people up for elimination strategizing, the marshmallow ceremony, and (if I feel like it) an after-credits scene.
Do I have a release date for TDI:HR? No, not yet. But I can at least promise the first chapter will drop this month. I gotta get back into the swing of things now that I’m free from school forever. But since I’ve kept you all waiting…how about one last sneak peek?
“Team captains?” Damien asked.
“Our first team captain shall be last season’s champion! Total Drama’s newest millionaire and conqueror of losers! PRIYA!”
The so-called conqueror of losers awkwardly shuffles to Chris.
“There she is! Everybody give her a hand! WOO WOO!” The last exclamation is emphasized with Chris raising the roof much like Priya would when she’s too awkward to articulate.
Priya sighs. “Welp, pressure’s on to make history.”
