“it’s still missing something…” max mused aloud to himself after taking a sip off the mystery beverage in his hand. the uniform and name tag he wore matching the diner he was currently in suggested he should be working at the moment, but his mind was clearly preoccupied by other things. “hey,” he said, suddenly turning to one of the diner’s patrons, holding out the glass to them, “taste this and tell me what I should add, will ya? right now it’s just blended up frosted flakes, coffee, hashbrowns, and an egg – I’m trying to make my breakfast eating more efficient – but it’s not quite perfect yet.”
dipper’s stomach churned as he grimaced at max’s blended up breakfast sitting in a cup. “uh, i’m pretty sure those things don’t go together,” he stammered. glancing once more at the glass in max’s hand, he put a hand over his mouth to keep from retching. “you might wanna separate the sweet from the savory, or you’ll end up with a really upset stomach.”
