Questioning ur gender as an afab person is hard bc ur like do I genuinely identify as Not A Woman or do I just not identify with the negative images of women that have been shoved at me since I was born? Like do I not like being referred to as a girl because that really isn’t who I am or is it because being connected to femininity comes along with some not great associations? And then there’s the question of am I really Not a Woman or am I just butch/futch? And then u get into questioning what gender even is to begin with. What is gender? What is masculinity? What is femininity? Is there anything inherent to either of them, or is it all socially constructed bullshit? Does gender actually exist?? If not, then what the fuck is my relationship with gender?

look I know this is sappy and cheesy but u know when a character loses control of their power or they’re possessed or w/e and their s/o shouts their name running towards them and then they stop their rampage and let their s/o hug them,, like that’s good shit

you don’t have to cancel everyone the second they misstep or do something dumb but you also DON’T have to defend everything that your fave does. you can say “hey this particular thing sucked” without getting into this all-or-nothing mentality. you are not an extension of the things you like. you can think freely and criticize the things (and people) that you like, and a criticism of something you like is not something that you should take personally or feel the need to correct/defend.

kissing each other when they are NOT victorious and things go south. giving themselves up to protect the other. complimenting each other on their work. patching each other up after. defending the other when they have a slip up and get into trouble with their potential superiors. being threatened and smirking cause “i wouldn’t have said that if i were you”  “you think i’m scared of you?” “oh no. but you should be of them!”- meaning their s/o.    BATTLE COUPLES.

my kink is fictional couples protecting each other not because one is ‘weaker’ (ie the female character) but because they’re both completely equal and their first instinct is to protect each other
