Some folks in the heraldry community on Reddit were doing tarot cards inspired by their own coats of arms. I thought I’d join in with the Four of Pentacles (otherwise known as the Four of Coins), which depicts someone who hoards money in the Rider-Waite deck.

Here I depict the faerie crest on my own coat of arms guarding a coin, upon which is the quatrefoil from my shield and my motto Omnia amittas quae non servantur “You might lose everything that is not saved.” There’s something to be said about saving money there…

An illustration I made for Art Fight 2026, a fun little event where you draw other people’s OCs, and others draw art of your OCs also.

This depicts JollyYoshi's Cassia Zoticus, a space pilot from the farming planet Agroktima.

Boy did this take a hell of a lot longer than I through it would. I don’t draw enough backgrounds, even if it’s a very simple scene, so I made myself draw one as practice. I wanted to do something with a bit of tension― get that ol’ Dutch angle in― and something with dramatic lighting without making it too complicated.

I took a picture of the No Skateboarding sign at Ueno Park a few years ago, and I discovered it again while looking through my hard drive. Then I thought, you know, I just have a lot of these old travel photos sitting around, maybe there’s something fun I can do with them. Then I remembered this cute little MV which mixes drawing and photography, which led me to drawing this.

Boy howdy I went and made another coat of arms, this one just for myself. ALSO I drew a bonus fae-cat crest.

Time to petition the Canadian Heraldic Authority to recognize the fae-cat as a heraldic animal.

I made another coat of arms for one of my roleplaying OCs, Camille “Rosy” Grey. You know what, I have no in-universe reason for Camille having this. This basically only exists because I like making coats of arms.

Symbolism

Rose proper Canting charge referring to her nickname, “Rosy,” due to her rose-tinted glasses.

Three keys Argent Represents access to many locations, in reference to her skills in computer hacking and covert entry.

Crest The kettle hat Sable represents a black hat, a term for malicious hackers.

The drone Or represents her drone flying skill, which she uses to reconnoiter a location before she breaks in, or to terrorize passersby.

Apparently June 1st is Green(f)‘s birthday and because I never keep up with these things, I only found out today, on June 2nd. I usually find out about these character birthdays like a week after they (fictionally) happen, so I usually never do them. But it just so happens I had to log in to the socmed the other day, and I had some extra time on my hands to pump out a drawing. It’s not too late, right? I mean, people leave their Jack-o-Lanterns out to rot for like a month after Halloween.

I started playing my character Camille, who I originally made for Shadowrun in an RP (that isn’t Shadowrun). Right now she’s trespassing onto a space station’s crash site by pretending to be part of the city’s hazmat response team.

In the RP, the city’s sanitation services has a contract from the fire department to handle hazmat response. Camille takes a taxi from her hotel to the city landfill, hacks the electronic lock on a dump truck with an employee’s uniform and ID badge inside, and disguises herself as a garbage collector.

She then quickly waves the ID card in front of a hungover guard, and walks into a restricted zone with the hazmat equipment and truck. Driving to the crash site, she makes it past the police checkpoint in her disguise, and starts exploring.

The truck comes with a big drone used for scouting ahead, collecting materials data, and decontamination.

I drew this without inking on top of an existing sketch, so the lineart is a little sketchy in and of itself. Honestly, I kinda like doing it this way, especially with how tedious I find doing the inking.
