i'm saying this is part because i am nosey and a little messy, but also... it's interesting to cut off tom's response. to cut off how dream reacted to that response.
ultimately, that's none of my business, and i'm sure it looked amicable enough and blahblah. but i've had those exact conversations before—with peers, no less—and yeah, cherry-picking a single big ass paragraph from those kinds of conversations is missing a whole lot of shit. the same asshole who was a religious nut and said he watched ftm porn in the same breath as "no, people can't change" sounds like a very reasonable man when you crop out my responses.
no, i'm not demanding dream release the full fucking dms, i can guess what they look like. but it's grating me like sandpaper on a central nerve when people hold up an unfinished sentence as a "well, you know, this part WAS reasonable"
