Well. Recent-ish, I made a separate tumblr account for don't starve, then shortly after I deleted it, for reasons. But I thought about it, and now I've decided I actually do want a don't starve account (once again called @starvedove), 'cause:
I've only just started posting my DST fanfics, and I'm very invested in them, and want to do my best to finish them! But 'cause of struggles with executive dysfunction, I tend to make slow progress. So I will probably be working on these fics for a very long time
Part of why I'm so invested in my fics is 'cause for the past few years, DST has been one of the main games that I default to playing. Especially my solo worlds, while listening to video essays. And after over a thousand hours, I'm still not tired of this game
Of course I'll still use pigeon-gryphon as my general reblogging blog, and my sideblog, pigeongryphon, as my general art blog. I'm pretty sure these having almost the exact same name must confuse people sometimes, but I can't be bothered to change either blog's name. And other than DST fanart, my art sideblog just has random animal doodles anyhow
I've been meaning to interact with the general DST tumblr fandom more, but most of my mutuals on here don't seem interested in DST, and I'm hesitant to flood their dashboards with DST stuff too regularly. And I didn't want to just make another sideblog 'cause I like the idea of trying out posting my fanworks directly onto a main blog.
Also, I follow so many people on pigeon-gryphon, that I have very slim chances of seeing specific artists' works on my dashboard, and I'm reluctant to turn on phone notifications for tumblr- so yeah :'D
