I genuinely don’t even know what to say. I haven’t been on here for ages. I haven’t really kept up with the boys at all, aside from going to one of Louis’ concerts. But I still have such a big part of my heart that belongs with 1D. I spent 2012-2016 fully dedicated to this fandom, and I havent even really been able to listen to 1D music since then because it makes me too emo.

I can’t really say I never expected something like this to happen, because I feel like it was always a fear in the back of my mind? The boys have been through so much, and we’ve seen them all really struggle, so it was always a worry. And with how things were going with Liam lately, this isn’t quite the shock it might once have been.

That doesn’t mean I’m not deeply saddened by this. Just that when I read the news, it didn’t feel like it was out of nowhere. And that’s somehow sadder. It’s like everyone could see that he wasn’t in a good place, but there was no one in his life who could help him. And obviously he wasn’t doing himself any favors with his behavior. But it’s still just so devastating that he will never have a chance to get better and to learn and grow as a person, and be accountable to his victims.

Anyway, this is a mess of a post, but I just felt like I had to say something. If anyone in the fandom is still following me - hi, it’s been a while, hope you’re all doing okay.
