why does adam’s rationalizations of cabeswater always include dragging someone’s latin skills??? when gansey is translating the latin from the trees adam is like no ronan he’s not making this up, do you really think gansey is good enough at latin to do that, of course he isn’t don’t be dumb. and then when he’s finally connected the dots that ronan dreamt cabeswater he’s like ya know what that makes total sense because only you would dream a forest with such shitty latin grammar. his default state is just being a little bitch and i. love. it.

i love how all of dream thieves ronan is laboring with this second secret that he can't even admit to himself and it takes the whole book for him to be like "yeah i'm in love with adam" and then not even half way through BLLB adam is like "yeah i know ronans in love with me that's so embarrassing for him"

This is for the people who didn’t party in their teens and twenties. For the people who didn’t have that “coming of age” movie experience with shenanigans and revelations. This is for the people who mostly keep to themselves. Who maybe prefer things to be quieter and gentler. This is for the people who don’t feel like they belong in a culture that values loud parties and flashing lights. I see you. And you are valid.
