2. Xiao Lanhua and Xunfeng bonding - mainly Xunfeng realizing what an awesome person the Moon Queen is and how stupid he'd been.

3. Xiao Lanhua, Jieli, and Danyin being the bestest of friends

4. More jealousy scenes from Dfqc, teehee

5. Also Dfqc being able to wield glazefire like he did hellfire. I need more awesome action scenes.

6. Xiao Lanhua using her awesome powers as well to heal and bond with people everywhere. I want her loved and admired by the 3 realms.

7. Fish-pale fairy king getting replaced or eliminated, for goodness' sake.

I'm pretty content with how Danyin ended in LBFAD; she's a strong female character who doesn't need a man. I also love how she states the fact that a man and a woman can just be friends or "buddies". Besides, I always appreciate a good story where not EVERY SINGLE character must end up marrying, dating or loving someone else.

This said...

I CAN'T UNSHIP THESE TWO.

The moment I learned these two were supposed to have a romantic subplot (but it was cut off, damn budget, plot restrictions, blahblah...) I was sold. They both have strong personalities, so their relationship would definitely be something fun to see. Plus, a bit of suffering for love would be good for Xunfeng, not to mention him falling in love with a fairy. The Goddess of War, no less.

Can he still have hope? If she hadn't met him, she would still be living peacefully as a fairy. Maybe she still wants to go back to that life and be free of him.

When the immortals attack them, she hugs him like a baby to protect him. She no longer hides how she feels, she is not afraid to show her love for him to the whole world. I mean look at her. Look at them 🥹
