Over the years, I’ve noticed trends in behaviors and attitudes between fans of particular Twst characters and I’ve wanted to know if there was any evidence to back up these observations. In other words… Are individuals with certain traits more likely to gravitate to one Twst character (in this case, one of the overblot boys) over the others? And maybe if this survey is successful, I’ll ask the same of the rest of the cast—

And so I thought to collect this data, analyze the results, and share the final report with the public. This will be done with the help of a friend (Mod Jeido from twstgameplay) that was also curious about the topic. The analysis itself will be conducted using JMP, a statistical software.

If you’re interested too, then please fill out the following form and/or share it on socials. (I don’t have a Reddit or Tiktok and I’m not active on Twitter so I’s appreciate it a lot!!) The more responses collected, the stronger the conclusions we can make!

A few reminders if you plan to fill out the form but haven’t yet (as we’ll already have to throw out a few responses because of some of these these errors):

If possible, please use English for the open-ended questions. We do have translators on hand, but non-English answers themselves and/or the act of translation could affect the data.

We’d like to analyze character trends based on country of residence (to see if that also has an impact on respondents’ tastes), so please do your best to include it. Again, we are asking for the country (ex: “Germany”) and NOT a general region (ex: “southeastern Asia”) or continent (ex: “North America”).

Please follow the directions when inputting the Big 5 test scores. Each question will tell you exactly what domain they are looking for (Openness, Extraversion, Neuroticism, Agreeableness, and Conscientiousness). These are displayed in a cumulative graph at the TOP of your results page. Do NOT scroll further down and input broken down values for each domain. For example, we want your Neuroticism score and NOT your Anxiety, Anger, Depression, Self-Consciousness, Immoderation, or Vulnerability scores.

The Big Five test linked provides FREE scores for each of the five domains. It may prompt you to pay for a more detailed report but this is NOT necessary to complete the survey. We only ask for the scores of the five broader domains, which is part of the free portion of the results. (The majority of respondents didn’t seem to run into this issue, but it sounds like a few people were prompted to pay to see their results at all? Not sure what was up with that 😅)
