She breathed a laugh. “Well, there’s not much of a toll, after I found out anyway. But I was devastated. I mean what kind of teenager can’t have sex without killing someone?”

"Still means that there's at least one." Bonnie shrugged. "I don't know. I've only ever kissed a boy, I don't see the big deal about sex."

A sigh. “Yeah, I learnt that the hard way.” 

"I'm almost afraid to ask the death toll, so I'm not going to." She grimaced. 

Madison hesitated for a minute, but she felt a pull towards this woman, a feeling that she couldn’t quite place. She’d felt it before the first time she met Cordelia Foxx, and encountered other witches in public. 

Bonnie's lips pulled up in a small grin. "If you don't mind the burning smell too much, I can just grab stuff from here." For a second she stared at her. "I won't check your card." It wasn't that she didn't care- she just needed someone to drink with. 

"Yeah, well as soon as you find an upside to fucking people to death, let me know.” 

Her mouth snapped shut, lips pressed together. "Really?" she finally managed. "Okay. I lied. Not always an upside."

Thea watched as the waitress walked away. There was something vaguely familiar about her. Had she seen her somewhere before? It wasn’t like seeing as Thea had only been in New Orleans for a couple months and the chance of her waitress having ever been in Starling City and encountering the youngest Queen was highly unlikely.

Bonnie pushed through the double doors to the kitchen, rolling her eyes faintly at the cook- half drunk, half high as usual. He was lucky she wasn't feeling vindictive. She hardly hesitated to bother him with little spiders. The waitress loaded up her tray, dropping off several other meals before stopping again, grinning. "French fries and coke, here you go."

Zoe nodded, pursing her lips. “Mmhm, I guess so.” 

"You just- well, hate to be cliche -you just gotta look for an upside. There's always one."
