Why aren't more people talking about the final scene of the last rnm ep, its so fucking nice, like holy shit, the fortune cookie is basically meta confirmation that Rick and Jerry are friends wich for Rick is like a huge thing as he doesn't want attachments anymore, not only that he fucking keeps the Thank You note, he didn't rip it up and he didn't scoff at it. And the way Jerry says something so actually profound and true "maybe this is a fate we can both control" like he's right and Rick is so mad that he's right that he slaps him but then apologizes because he IS his friend now. I love this scene, genuinely one of my favorites in the entire show because its just the logical conclusion of years of character growth and their relationship and the show DOESNT downplay it with humor. This whole season is SO good so far.
