hey, thank yoh so much!! im so sorry for not answering quickly. heres some tips!:

• one thing that really works for me is causing shifts to happen, like phantom or mental/sensory shifts. i do this through several things like;

- listening to forest sounds

- listening to folk/forest-y music, im a big fan of the album my head is an animal by of monsters and men

- wear clothing that has the same coloration as your kin, and if you wanna go further, you could get compression socks/gloves/etc to make yourself more conscious of those body parts and maybe cause shifts

- make a nest/den in your room, either w pillows around you, or by making a fort with sheets/blankets/pillows. you could also bring plants into your room for more forest vibes

• you can also research about your kin, either through documentaries or books/research papes. its easy to find good ones on youtube if you just search for it. you can also research about otherkin in general

• eat foods similar to your kin, but make sure its human safe!! no raw meat/fish, etc. you could eat cooked meats w texture similar to raw, or you could eat fruits and berries. there are some resources here on kinblr if youre interested

• spend time outdoors/in the forest, relax outside and connect w the earth and your kin

• meditate, theres a good amount of tutorials on kinblr or guided meditations on youtube. perhaps meditate outside

• interact on kinblr, make/look at stuff like aesthetics and those sorta blogs. relating with other people helps you feel connected to yourself too

• make some kin friends and talk to them about their kin experiences. i find that learning about other peoples experiences and things that have happened in their lives, and talking about my past, through conversation can really help me connect more with myself and them. you can easily find people on kinblr that have open dms, im down to talk too!!
