choosing a new name is so hard, i dont hate my given name, it just doesn’t feel like me. but then again, it feels more like me than the name i’ve fallen in love with for myself. oh and also, my full name would be one letter away from a fictional murderer, so that’s not great.

doesn’t help that i also go by this name separately in 2 different places, my club and the role im playing in theater. at least i know i’ll be known as it there.

and don’t get me started on social transition, especially with likely unsupportive parents.
