Welcome to Afheim || Aelsa || Open
Queen Aelsa smiled at the person standing in front of her in the great hall of the palace.
“Welcome to Alfheim, to whom do we owe the pleasure?”
Jane wondered if she should bow. Ir curtsey? The latter would be difficult in jeans.
"Thank you, your majesty," she said. "Would you believe me if I told you I was just really, really lost?"
“I would, you’re not the first to wind up on our shores by accident. You’re welcome to stay here as long as you need. Light Elves are a peaceful and hospitable people.”
Jane breathed out, relieved. Some of the peoples she’d encountered hadn’t been so lucky. “Thanks. I wish I could say the same thing about humans. I, uh...” she held up her device. “I’d been reading some books about travelling between realms from Asgard, and I thought I could build a machine to do the same thing as their magic, but I guess I didn’t get it quite right.”
