hey guys, haven’t posted on here in a while. I’m not dead, but I have been super busy with life in general and just haven’t had much motivation to write.
first things first, idk what’s gonna happen to TLTB. To be honest, I didn’t have a plan for how it was gonna end and trying to figure out a satisfying way to end it was just draining me. I might pick it back up, but for now it’s prolly dead.
that doesn’t mean I’ll stop writing stuff! I’ll likely keep my stuff isolated to one-shots until I get more comfortable with longer projects / get more writing endurance. I also won’t be sticking solely to fnaf, but expanding a but beyond that. I also might start posting prompts, headcanons, and stuff like that on here just for fun.
I’m gonna try to be less regulated with my creativity to see if it helps with actually creating stuff. I have a few drafts that I might post for fun. Maybe. Don’t hold your breath for any updates, but hopefully fully accepting that my writing is gonna ebb and flow with motivation will boost it instead of feeling like an obligation that I can infinitely put off.
A sharp pain hits your skull, relinquishing you from the numb darkness of your dreams. Eyes flying open, you instantly know that this isn’t right. You were on your couch just a minute ago, too tired to take off your VR headset, and now? Now you’re in a strange room, with a royal carpet beneath you reading to massive doors right in front of you.Â
Your headache slowly fades off into confusion as you slowly get up. Walking to the doors, you peek your head out. A hallway decorated with columns and carpet obviously leading somewhere. Seeing no one else, you leave the room, following the path. Dread slowly creeps up your chest. What if this is a trap? What is even happening? Were you kidnapped? Your thoughts spinned until you constructed several scenarios, each one more elaborate than the last.Â
Your legs carried you to another door, smaller but still grand. The wood felt cool on your palm as you pushed it open, heel hitting the edge of the marble floor. An endless black void stretched underneath you, and as your eyes drifted up, you saw floating pieces of marble draped with that same red carpet scattered across the void. At the end of the stretch was another door, a ledge with a ripped red carpet signaling the obvious. You were supposed to traverse this death trap.
Who were you kidding, there is absolutely no way you were going to do this. Backing away, you turn behind you, only to be met with nothing. The entire hallway was just gone. This isn’t real. It can’t be. Entire hallways don’t just vanish?! This can’t be real, so it must be a dream. A really, really lucid dream. And if it was a dream, you could wait it out! Sitting down in the entranceway, you decide to simply will all of this to stop.Â
You shut your eyes, willing everything to stop with all your might. That is, until you feel significantly less floor supporting your weight. Your eyes fly open as you scramble up, only just avoiding the ground crumbling under your weight. The floor was disappearing, slowly closing in on your small ledge. Whether this is a dream or not, you did not want to die. Spinning towards the floating marble platforms, you brace yourself a before getting a running start.
You leap towards the first platform, chest tight with fear as wind rushes past your head. Soon you land safely a couple inches from the edge, stumbling forward before you gain your balance. Looking back, you see that the doorway behind you is completely gone.Â
Welp, there was only one way to go.
You take a breath, close your eyes, and steady yourself, trying to chase off the creeping vines of anxiety that crawl up your chest. Opening your eyes again, you tense your muscles and jump again, the sound of your shoes against the marble a relief you never knew you needed. Before you give yourself the chance to freeze, you take off again, bouncing to each platform with the grace of an infant. Finally you take one last leap- straight into a grand columnÂ
Stumbling back, you grip the edge of the insignia on the beam, keeping yourself from tumbling down into the darkness below. Despite everything, you’re alive. Exhausted, but alive.Â
After a small break, you walked through the wooden doors, entering a dark hallway. Cautiously, you traverse the hall, one step at a time. Some sort of goop drips down from the ceiling like water in a damp cave. A drop lands on your cheek, sticking slightly before you wipe it off.Â
Continuing forward, you approach a normal sized door for once, though the fact it’s pitch black is suspicious at best. You don’t see a knob for the door, so you place your palm against it. Your hand presses into the darkness of the door, which gives way as the black slime coats your hand. Yanking it back quickly, you look at your palm in disgust as globs of black goop drip down onto the floor.
You do not want to open this door, but the lack of options guides your hand back to the door. Pushing the door open, you tread cautiously into the room. It is pitch black, save for a single dim lamp hanging overhead, casting a faint golden glow over the room.Â
Behind you, the door swings shut.Â
Panicking, you turn around and frantically bang on the door, bashing your fists, and eventually your shoulder, against it in a vain attempt to escape. Through this, you fail to notice the goop slowly congeal, clumping together into a singular mass. Two purple eyes bulge out from the slime along with a wide grin to loosely craft a face, along with a small tendril inching towards your hysterical form.
You feel something curl around your waist before forcefully spinning you to face it. A giant mass of purple slime towers over you, grinning madly at your misfortune.Â
You scream for help, for anyone to save you, but it seems the only one who heard your cries had no mercy in its heart for you.
Two arms protrude out of the mass, causing you to back up against the door. You watch as the goop forms into hands, fingers spreading out experimentally as it tests its new appendages out. You look to each side of the beast, but with how big it was, you knew it was useless to run. That didn’t stop you from trying.
You turn and bolt to your right, but you don’t make it even three steps before a massive hand grabs your torso roughly, lifting you off your feet. You thrash wildly in the air, pushing against the slime with all your might, but it doesn’t budge. The slime, previously squishy, has hardened enough to firmly hold you. A thumb makes its way up to your mouth, silencing your next scream.Â
You’re lifted higher and higher to meet the monster face to face, tears silently streaming down your face as the reality of the situation crashed into you. You were going to die here, in a strange world separated from all you knew, with no chance to say goodbye.
The giant slime opened its maw, revealing a tongue triple your size. It lunged forward, slamming into your body and drenching you in its spit, which was just stickier slime. It trailed up, invading every part of you, before departing as quickly as it came. Satisfied with its taste test, the beast decided to finally feast on its prey.
Shifting its grip on you, you’re left dangling between two fingers as it raises you above its mouth. You look down at the cavern below, dark and warm, before you feel the pressure of the hand holding you vanish.Â
You drop into the maw, hitting the tongue like a rock. You feel the slime beneath you give way slightly, like a muscle, as it squirms and moves under you. You’re able to turn around just in time to see the newly formed teeth snap shut, leaving you in total darkness. The tongue moves up, slamming you into the roof of the mouth, grinding you against it, before sliding you down to the sides of the maw, smushing you into the goop of the mouth.Â
It continues like this for a while, with it tossing you around and toying with you, like it was trying yo savor a hard candy. Unfortunately, all candies run out of flavor eventually. The tongue raises you upwards, shifting you to the back of the mouth. You spot the throat, a gaping hole that leads to certain death, but you don’t fight it. You’re guided back, back to the throat, and you feel the slime around you constrict violently as a deafening gulp resonates all around you
The slime pushes you down, slipping you into a small space illuminated by a faint purple glow. You struggle to breathe as the remaining air is nowhere near enough for you. As you fight to stay awake, you feel a deep voice rumble through your body, though you can’t tell what it said. Darkness slowly invades your sight, but somewhere deep inside you knows that this is only the beginning.
I had to replace a few parts on my car, which caused me to get another job. I’m slowly writing, but I don’t know when I’ll finish the next chapter of The Larger The Scarier. I promise I’m not dropping it though, just Going Through It.
Things are a Lot calmer! I am slowly, slowly moving along on these chapters because Holy Shit Springtrap DBD… I promise I’m writing it’s just. Rough. I also have to fight the urge to write a whole new oneshot about Springtrap in DBD because this update has been in the works wayyy too long.

Been getting super busy and in the small amount of free time I have, I sleep… I’ll get these current projects finished / updated during May or June I promise. In the meantime, ask box is open, though I won’t respond to anything till the next chapter of The Larger The Scarier is out.
Jeremy, alive and uninjured, stared up at the massive machine that just spat him into its hand. Saliva dripped from his form, but he remained rigid as monstrous fingers shoved into his body to swipe away the spit coating him. “I’m sorry I haven’t properly introduced myself, you can call me Springtrap.” Now that its voice box was cleared, Jeremy could hear a slightly British articulation through the thunderous sound. He was proud of himself for catching that amid this disaster.
“What can I call you?” It drawled, rumbling like a car as the palm encasing him forced him slightly above the mouth he just escaped- right under those half-lidded, grey eyes. “W-Well, I, uh,” He stammered, “J-Just Jeremy. Yeah. Jeremy.” He’d cover his face if it didn’t spread slime over his face. Springtrap’s face spread into a wide grin resembling a crescent moon, “Well, Just Jeremy, I know my throat was just delectable, but my saliva doesn’t seem to suit you.”Â
With that as his only warning, Jeremy was lowered down to the monstrosity’s chest much too fast before being slammed into the rotten fur with a yelp. He gets dragged and rubbed across its chest gently in Springtrap’s eyes, but much too rough for him. When he’s separated from it, he’s left with moldy fur hanging where spit used to be, and a nasty rug burn.Â
“Never, and I mean Never do that again.” He stands up on the paw, eying the edge, “You really have never interacted with a human, have you?” There was an edge to his words that he didn’t think possible, especially when talking to a giant robot.Â
Springtrap analyzed the man in his possession, slowly considering how terrifying his actions could be. “My… apologies. I figured being wiped off would be better than my saliva eating away at your skin. Unless you want that?”Â
“No! No no no. Absolutely Not.”Â
Well, it was worth a try. He tasted good too.
“Now, why did you come in here? Why are you even here at all?” The animatronic rumbled, aiming a pointed glance at the small man left trapped in his hand. He waited for a moment before Jeremy nervously relied, “W-well, I’m an engineer. But not really, I applied to be a receptionist, but they decided to hire me as an engineer even though I have no idea how to fix th-”
A booming howl forced Jeremy to cover his ears as the ground shook and a thumb soared down to pin his form against the moldy palm. Vertigo slammed into him violently as Springtrap stood to his full height, clearing miles of distance in less than a second. “You! An engineer! At your size? Why, you’d be easily killed by any electric spark, it’s like they don’t even know you’re bite-sized!”
He was speechless- besides the fact that he could barely breathe with Springtrap’s thumb slowly suffocating him, this guy must have been living under a rock if it didn’t know about the opinion giants have about humans and their somewhat integrated societies.Â
The silence told him everything. “Oh my, they don’t! That’s even better!” He barked with laughter, stretching his permanent smile much further than it’s been in years. “This is the best thing that I’ve ever witnessed! You are an idiot! Tell ya what, I’ll help you keep your job here, fixing whatever these bastards need you to fix, and in turn, you need to give me a show!”
This had to be a joke. There’s no way Jeremy was staying here any longer, and he was definitely not going to spend it with this massive machine as entertainment. But, realistically, he had no choice. He was driven to apply here for a reason- he was forced to. It was the only job he could get. No human places were hiring, especially with a wage that could cover his rent. And when it came to giant jobs, they all required him to be there physically to interview applicants. This was the only place that he could work at. “I-Alright. As long as I don’t die from it.”Â
The grin above him grew even larger somehow, and suddenly he was flung high into the air, falling harshly back into the paw that tormented him with a spine-chilling chuckle, “Don’t worry, half-pint. You’ll be fine. You will love it here!” And as the sun rose, Springtrap walked to the front door, a new friend in hand.Â
He had no idea how all of this happened, but he couldn’t lie, this was the best day he’s had in a while. Laying dormant for years on end in that room had long driven him to insanity, and now he could finally have someone who he could keep, someone to talk to. The nightguard always tried to tase him if he got too close, and there was no way he was revealing himself to the day shift. They would dismantle him immediately.Â
Now, he has a little buddy! Someone to actually keep him company. He wants to see how much they could scare the employees, plus he couldn’t rule out getting another taste of him. Seeing Jeremy scurry around the establishment in the day to steal some things would be worth having to fix whatever management broke.
Fingers lifted to cup Jeremy instead of pinning him down, resembling a caged platform. Behind him sat the green, metallic wall, littered with holes and stunk of rotten flesh. In front, he could see the front doors in the distance, getting closer with each sway of the sentient floor. Another finger descended onto his head, shoving him down as Springtrap absently pet him. The adrenaline was slowly receding to reveal just how exhausted he was. He was struggling to keep his eyes open, at least until the finger trailed down his spine. He shuddered at the thought of that finger applying more pressure, slowly cracking his shoulder blades before crushing his spine.Â
The rhythmic sway of the hand stopped as they reached the door, and Jeremy remembered the long and terrifying walk out of the giant section of the city, dodging late runners shaking the earth, cars splashing waves onto the sidewalk, and jumping over cracks that resembled cliffs on the sidewalk. “You better come back tomorrow, kid.” A low rumble jolted him out of his dread, reminding him that yes, this walk was better than staying with him. “What am I kidding, if you took a job here, you obviously had no other choice. The bigger question is whether you can make it home before the working hours start.”
The hand started descending like an elevator, actually moving slowly for once. When it reached the floor, Jeremy quickly stumbled off the paw and scurried to the small hole he snuck in through. Once out of the animatronic’s reach, he looked back. “Y-Yeah, I will. I have a system. I’ll be back. T-Thank you for walking me back.”
All he was offered back was a scoff, the animatronic’s eyes half-lidded and framing a smirk. Jeremy took his cue and left, dreading both his hour commute and his next day of work.Â
Jeremy couldn’t believe this. He couldn’t even speak because It was alive and it was going to eat him. He grabbed the hand sliding him towards the awaiting maw, petrifying animatronic teeth framing a much too alive tongue. Fingers larger than him grab his arm and yanks him from safety- plummeting to certain death. A scream erupted from his chest as he landed into the robot’s mouth.Â
The precious light from the outside world vanished as those moldy teeth clamped shut behind him, leaving him at the mercy of the monster’s tongue. He banged against it, begging desperately, “LET ME OUT!” The tongue lifted Jeremy up and slammed him painfully against the roof of the mouth, rubbing him into a worrying metal and flesh combination before slowly falling back down gently.Â
He got the picture: fighting only made things worse. He settled back down and thought about how he was going to do this. Feeling around his environment, he became viscerally aware of how wrong it was. He had been eaten before as a part of a horrible job that paid his way through college, but this was different. The tongue itself felt warm, unlike giant mouths that felt like the literal sun. It felt like a slightly too warm day outside without all the joy of being outside. The tongue had a thin coat of a substance similar to saliva, but too thin to be considered as such. It covered him, but it didn’t drench him. He was wet from it, but not dripping.Â
After waiting a while for the ground to turn on him again and swallow him, he realized that the animatronic was serious. He was going to have to actually crawl down its throat. Jeremy steeled his nerves, got up from his shaking knees, and slowly started walking to the back of the maw. Step by step, he approached the abrupt drop, sitting at the edge to peer down into the darkness. He could barely see what appeared to be a metal box. Hoping he was right, and he wasn’t going to die from this, he pressed against the back of the mouth and jumped down.Â
He reached the other side of the throat and swiftly jabbed his hands into the scratches of the voice box before he discovered whether this monstrosity had a stomach too. He pulled himself up and hooked his feet into the box as well. The box was embedded into the wall, forcing Jeremy to scale it if he wanted to figure out what was wrong. This caused the beast to move, almost dislodging him from the box. Great. It was ticklish.Â
Jeremy crawled up and down the box, moving from screw to screw, utilizing the dents that proved to be great climbing holds. He needed a plan of action to get into this box without dropping things down the throat. It was a simple plate with four screws, so he could try to unscrew the bottom two screws and put them on top of the box, the slight lip poking out seeming like a precarious, but available spot for them.Â
It was the only plan he could come up with, so he scaled down the box, shoving a foot in the hole meant for a screwdriver, and pushing. The screw slowly unraveled this way, replacing his foot each revolution the screw took. Eventually the screw was out, and he grabbed it before scaling with one hand up the box to set it down. Repeating the process with the next screw, he finally had access to the inner workings of the voice box. Lifting up the plate against the other screws, he entered the box.Â
Instantly, he saw what was wrong. Dead bugs clogged up all the mechanisms of the box. It was an easy, if not disgusting fix. He cleaned all the bug carcasses out and sent them down the throat of the animatronic. It was a small piece of vengeance, but vengeance nonetheless. Pushing the plate and grabbing the dents, he started to reinstate the screws using the same method he used to remove them. Once they were in, he was done!
Jeremy finished with the last screw and finally contemplated how he was going to get out. There was no way to go but down, and that didn’t seem quite safe. He jumps as air is sucked down past his form, testing his grip and threatening a painful death.
“Jump.” The ground rumbles around him, and he has no other choice but to listen. He lets go of his grip, stupidly trusting this beast to save him. He closes his eyes, awaiting the painful metal beneath him. He never hits it. Air surges past him, carrying him up as he is burped out of the animatronic, soaring through its mouth and landing harshly against fuzzy fingers. He was somehow, miraculously, gifted the ability to live after that horrific experience.

Springtrap marveled at the minuscule form he held against his chest. This must be one of the humans he heard about so long ago. He hardly remembered them, as he never left the giant cities. This one looked… intriguing to say the least. Brown hair flowed right above his eyebrows, which framed unfocused and dazed grey eyes. He was shaking quite a lot, which delighted the rotted rabbit immensely.Â
The man in the room with them began to stir, causing Springtrap to cover the man with his hand again. “Shh, little one,” he rumbled, “He’s waking.” The restrained intruder’s eyes blinked open moments later, landing on his still form. He rested as if he was powered off, but his mechanical eyes never left the intruder, as if he could still attack them. The man struggled against the rope tying his arms and legs together before realizing that he couldn’t get out. He laid down in resignation, like a lamb awaiting slaughter.
Soon, the sounds of boots thumping against the tile approached the room, and the door slowly opened. Two people wearing police uniforms entered and lifted the man out of the room, completely ignoring the limp animatronic staring through them. It was quick, as if they didn’t want to investigate the sketchy scene of the attraction. That was for the better. If they tried to investigate him, he would rip them apart with glee.Â
A yelp brought Springtrap back to reality, feeling his fingers dig into the small life he held. He quickly loosened his grip, not wanting to harm his new toy, and moved his hand off of his chest. The human was now tilted up towards him in his hand, staring up at the animatronic with anxiety and fear in his gaze. The robot smirked, moving his other hand to trace a finger across the side of the miniscule being.Â
As the machine opened his maw to speak, his voice box sputtered, releasing static that made both him and the human cringe in pain. He hit his throat with his free fist to try and attempt to dislodge whatever was interfering with his voice box. It did not work. He tried to talk again, but it only produced even more static, which would prove to be an issue if he wanted to know why a human was here. Well, there is another way.
Trying once again, he was able to struggle out a word in between static, “Fi—iiix.” He raises his hand with the human up to his face and, after a brief moment of hesitation, opened his mouth. He tilted his hand and slid the man to his awaiting jaws, raising his other hand to dislodge the desperate hands that grip his hand like a lifeline. He can only hope he won’t regret this.
Jeremy was recently hired as an engineer instead of what he applied for, which was a receptionist. Fazbear Frights. A horror attraction that apparently doesn’t care who they hire and what they do. Now, normally Jeremy would go and correct their mistakes, since he’s not an engineer, but he really really needed a job. Problem: besides not being an engineer, they’re a giant only attraction and he’s tiny. That detail doesn’t need to be brought up though.Â
That brings Jeremy to his current predicament, being trapped in the night guard’s desk as the giant idly hammers his fingers above the trapped man. He was told to enter the building and get the blueprints from the night guard’s desk before the guard got there, but unfortunately for him he was too slow. And now, here he was, trapped by a bored giant and likely to either accidentally kill him or throw him out in disgust. The sketches weren’t even there!
The ground suddenly shifts as the drawer opens, a massive hand settling down inches from where Jeremy is laying, knocked off balance and vulnerable to the pen the giant picks up. He is helpless as the tip of the pen swiftly dives towards him, jabbing him painfully in the stomach. The guard absentmindedly messes with the content of the drawer as he watches the cameras.Â
The pen leaves Jeremy’s stomach as the guard perks to attention. “No way… what are they doing here?” The guard stands up, pen dropped next to Jeremy, before grabbing a taser and bolting out of the room. Thank God. Any oblivious giant is dangerous. Wait- scratch that- Any giant Period is dangerous. Jeremy climbs up out of the drawer and grabs his knife before sliding down the leg of the desk. Back on the ground, he decided to get the hell out of there.Â
He scurries out of the office before hearing the sounds of a fist fight coming from the entrance. Flesh thumping against bone echoes through the hall, terrifying Jeremy. There is no way he is getting anywhere near that. With that route not being an option anymore, he elects to hide until the fighting is over. One place he knows no one will go into for a while is Parts and Service, and so he sprints in the direction of the room
It takes way too long to get there, but eventually Jeremy finds the door and crawls underneath. Getting back on his feet, the human takes an inquisitive look at the place. The smell of rotten flesh hits him like a truck, making him gag in disgust. Nothing is particularly noteworthy except the massive animatronic bunny leaning against the back wall.Â
Curiosity takes over Jeremy, and he walks closer to the robot. The smell of rotten flesh expands as he gets closer, serving as a barrier for the man. This does not stop the stupidity of Jeremy unfortunately, and he journeys between the sprawled out legs of the animatronic. While it felt awkward to walk between the legs of a robot, if Jeremy was to become an engineer at his size, he would have to get used to it.Â
He reaches the thigh of the giant bunny and takes in the mold-ridden fur, the ridiculous amount of holes on it, and the suspicious pieces of rotten meat covering the metal of the interior of the bot. Despite this, he climbs the thigh and makes his way to the chest of the robot. That’s when he hears heavy footsteps approaching the room, along with the sounds of a body being dragged.Â
Jeremy freezes up, his breathing ramps up, and he fails to notice the head of the animatronic tilting down to peer at him. Before the door opens, a green metal hand covers his vision before shoving him against the synthetic fur. The door swings open and a body is tossed onto the ground. “That should hold him until the police arrive,” The guard scoffs, “Idiot.” The door slams close
A low, throaty chuckle rumbles through his body like thunder, rattling him to his bones. “Well, this is quite a surprise.”
