Something so earth shattering for Mel, ON TOP OF HER DAMN DEPOSITION, to discover that her sister who she’s created a lot of her self worth upon, doesn’t need her or rely on her as much as she initially thought. And that’s a good thing Becca’s independence doesn’t mean not caring or loving Mel but it means that Mel’s gotta break away from the comfort that is the caregiver role and stop giving all that she has. She’s got to take care of herself and find her own the same way Becca did. And I have a feeling Langdon is gonna be her first step when she and him establish a rapport as good friends.
