Hi ladies, I'm working on a series about being a woman in today's world focusing on how our bodies, life choices, careers, etc. seem to be constantly open for criticism, objectification, dismissal, etc. I'm doing drawings of women with with captions of these comments. I'm reaching out to you because I want to include your experience in this project. Has anyone on the street ever made a passing remark about how much (or little) makeup you wear? Have you been rebuked for not wanting children or having no interest in getting married? Ever been told you should smile more? I want to hear about it.
