After taking a quick look around to see if he could find anything else of interest, he begun to walk up to the vendor behind the stall. “Hey, I’d like to take these with me,” Phillip said as piled up his items of choice onto the counter as nonchalantly as possible. There wasn’t anything to be embarrassed about, but he had a feeling that he didn’t want to be seen in this booth by anyone he knew. “So, how much will it be?”

[🐎] — The last few times she’s set up a booth for events, Georgia put a lot of focus into the pet side of her business. While advertisement for Barley’s and more awareness towards pet adoptions were great, she wanted to show people the greatness of her horse ranch as well.

And even show them a bit of the passions she pursued in her personal life. Thanks to her tendency for highly emotional responses and gross overreaction, she was seen as a bit… intimidating, by some. Which, wasn’t untrue, but she was a lot nicer than that, too! 

All Georgia ever wanted was to be better understood by others, and she thought this would be the perfect way to get that.

“Howdy! Just step right on up and take yourself a gander!” Georgia says with a grin, gesturing proudly to her booth. “If you’ve got any questions, you know where to find me~”

Eventually, his initial enthusiasm began to subside for a look of indecisiveness. The thing about liking everything was that, well, it was nearly impossible to pick something. "Hm, well... huh." He held his chin in thought as he pondered over his options, when suddenly, the perfect solution came to mind.

"... I'll just take one of everything!" Grinning, he pulled out his wallet and slid a heap of gold onto the counter. "Oh, and as for the horse, could you get me the chestnut one over there? She'd make a great addition to the farm!"

“H-Hello…!” Violet greeted with a smile, “U-Um…l-let me know i-if you want t-to buy anything…!” 

In front of her sat a very simple booth composing of several different flowers she grew in her apartment. They weren’t as good as the ones you could find at the flower store…but Violet was proud of them nonetheless. She enjoyed growing flowers, she didn’t mind that at all!

“I’d like to take one hydrangea jar in blue. Thanks!”

.: ❀ — Today was Valentine’s day. To be honest, all that was on his mind was work during the morning. With no significant other, who was he going to gift? He didn’t bother with it. But work… All the last minute gifts people had for others… Ah, it was going to be messy. As if the last few days of work weren’t also hectic enough.

So when he came down into the living room to make breakfast for the both of them, Kamil was surprised when Phil approached him. … With a gift, hiding behind his back. It flustered him, his cheeks flushing as he just stood there a bit dumbfounded. Then he remembered that Phil was just… A nice person, so it probably meant nothing at all. The pink dusting of his cheeks faded as he retorted, “At least it’s not chocolate.”

“What is it, though? Did you make breakfast?” That was a joke. Phil can’t cook.

Kamil’s first guess had caught Phillip off guard as the both of them were fully aware that Phillip was hardly a decent cook (unless you counted his superb cup noodles, which were delicious, thanks, Kam). “Er, no-- wait, that was a joke, wasn’t it?” He huffed. “If you're just gonna make fun of me, then there’s no point in guessing. Here!” 

Phillip raised his arms and thrust a blue rose in the florist’s direction, a hopeful yet nervous smile appearing on his face as he begun to scramble his brain for an appropriate explanation. “Um, you already know that I hardly know anything about flowers, but I figured that you’d at least find one nice to look at,” he said, rubbing the side of his neck with his free hand.

Welcome to the Finals of the Pelago Winter Tournament! See the above picture for the full roster of combatants!

After a long tournament, three finalists have emerged. Aurelia, Kathy, and Lloyd will duke it out in a final battle to decide first, second, and third place! Who will come out on top? Who will go home with the healing bees? Will Chuu maintain her sanity RPing two people in one match? Stay tuned for the final battle of a lifetime!

Yet another loss. 

Phillip wasn’t about to start moping around anytime soon, but he had to admit that the taste of defeat was never easy to take. Especially not when he had been training pretty hard for the past month or so-- spending his free time trekking out in the Fugue Forest and studying relentlessly in order to sharpen his skills.

Still, it was hard to stay disappointed when he remembered what he did win. An unlikely friend out of a toughened nun, but a friend nonetheless. Her fiery hair and striking gold gaze left a lasting imprint on Phillip’s mind during his ride back home, who was left wanting for another chance to see her again.

Strangely enough, he had a feeling that the day would come sooner than he expected.
