After a brief hiatus, here’s days 10 and 11 of my 30 day sketching people challenge. I’m trying to be a bit looser in my sketching. Both drawn with a Muji fountain pen using the stock black ink cartridge.

Pilot Kaküno with Pilot black ink cartridge. I’m still loving this pen for sketching. That’s three in a row with this pen now. I think I’ll mix it up tonight and use a different pen. This guy looked so happy walking down the street.

I really need to use a different paper. The nice watercolor paper I’m using really causes the nibs of my pens to snag when I’m trying to draw nice lines.

Day 2 : Lamy Nexx (A nib) with standard Lamy blue T10 cartridge. 

I've not had chance to #doodle much recently so I thought I'd take an hour to zone out and see what I'd end up #drawing. Unsurprisingly it was a #rock.

Taking a well-earned break from work, I felt a doodle was in order. Tonight's picture gradually became a fun exercise in light and shadow with a slight fantasy twist. I really enjoyed this one - it was a totally unexpected departure from drawing rocks or trying to draw people. :) Drawn on the tablet in Autodesk Sketchbook using (unsurprisingly) the pen tool. #fantasy #penandink #doodles #doodlesofinstagram #monoart #drawing #autodesksketchbook

I needed some doodle therapy and sometimes, after a really long week, only rocks will do. So tonight's doodle is more rocks, loosely based on some outcrops at Combestone Tor.
