Spent last week listening to a True Crime/Investigative Journalist podcast that covered the unsolved murder of an indigenous woman in B.C., Canada. Her name is Alberta Williams. This podcast (and the other one I listened to) hit me harder than others. Felt obligated to see her face, her family’s face, and pay tribute. That shit is crazy. Hearing/Reading about someone’s tragic life and, death, then finally seeing the ones effected. It’s tough. Even though I have mixed feelings about creating art and posting it on social media when it relates to the dead. My hesitance doesn’t help anything either. So, see her face.
