Went to Sam's Spa last week with this one. Had a great time; enjoyed some soft spring water and each other's company all the while. We slept in a van together which was a ton of fun. The only thing is we definitely should have fluffed the beanbag bed a bit more before stuffing it in the back. 😅 Live and learn, next time we got it. I've been craving this feeling for a very long time. I've been told by many people that they like me, that I'm sweet, that I'm cute, that I'm "one of the nicest people" they've ever met, that they couldn't imagine me getting ferociously angry, in more or less words. I know I'm not perfect, but I don't mind if someone else wants to say those things. I know the truth in my heart of hearts, but I also never say most of those things to others and sometimes I think that hurts them, and I've had people take it very personally...Of course I think people are cute, and attractive, and nice, if they are, and I don't mind saying those things because they are subjective and completely a matter of opinion, my own. I have never told anyone, "you're perfect" or "You're the most attractive person I've ever been with". I have said, "You're one of the most attractive people I know, that's why we're in a relationship," right? Wrong, we're having sex because there's sexual chemistry, but we're in a relationship because I want to be with your mind. I want to smash our brains together and see the world through your eyes, and if I open my eyes one day and realize that I can't see myself anymore, or hate the way I see the world because of that connection, then it is time to concede. I personally don't like hearing those things; I like feeling those things based on actions. I don't want people to tell me I'm nice I just want to be nice, and if I'm mean, and I've been told, "Damn Phillip, you're nice but you sure can be Savage," then I expect to be told, that way in the future I may adjust. I can be savagely honest without being a jerk. It's more like, "Well, this is how I feel. You're welcome to disagree but here are the facts and here are the things I think relate to this, and how my own experience shapes why I feel the way I feel, in this case specifically." I don't care who you are, if what you're doing directly effects me and I have an opinion on it then I'm going to be transparent. You know how I feel and I know how you feel, and based on the facts we may both adjust, but at the end of the day if we have to agree to disagree then that's fine. I had such an amazing time these last few weeks! I made memories that will last forever, I got to meet tons of interesting people, and I got to spend some much needed, and much appreciated, quality time with my family. I'm very thankful to have a family as fun, loving, caring, and goofy as they all are, just a bunch of Twotters, and I'm very grateful to have had the opportunity to travel and experience new cultures and environments. Love going here with my friends. The first time we went there was a good amount of trash in the water, wrappers, bottles, cardboard; but the last time we went there was none. Great day on Wednesday! I'm a bit late on posting the pictures but what's considered on-time when your making a post? I went into a thrift store to make sure it was fine for us to park in front, didn't want to get a ticket since we weren't going to the thrift store, and this older woman with no teeth turned to me, smiled, and said, "You're so sweet. Where are you from, Minnesota?" I guess I looked like I was from Minnesota on that summer day, but I always thought it was cooler in Minnesota and I was definitely dressed for California. What gives a person that good old "Minnesota" look, ya know? (at Crestline, California)
