Authentic: A Prince Harry Fanfic

Also how is everyone? How are we enjoying seeing the Duke and Duchess of Sussex?

A nervous laugh left Kimberly’s lips at the comment as she quickly moved her hand away from the mane, where her fingers were gently buried. Stepping back, she shook her head at him as she watched him hold his hand out to her. Opening her mouth to respond, nothing came out prompting a chuckle to leave his mouth as he approached her. Harry’s hands fell onto her shoulders, looking straight at her as he gently rubbed circles on them.

“You’ll be fine. Don’t be scared, I’m right here.” He whispered softly, a smile falling onto his lips - one that she quickly replicated for a second before looking down at herself. The skirt she was wearing at work earlier that day was barely visible beneath her parka and her bad choice of shoes was glaring as she noted the slight discomfort in her feet.

I have however been reading a lot of other fan fictions (which was pretty stupid because you are all some crazy talented writers) and it’s made me super inspired.

I spent some time extensively re-writing unreleased chapters and the new chapter should be out before the week is done.

I know it has been a while but I hope you’ll stick with me through the rest of this journey and help and support me through it.

Thank you for you patience and I can only hope, thank you for your support in the future.

Please continue writing! It does feel as weird once you re-emerse yourself in the story again!

I think I might, thank you for the message. I’m just gong to work on editing the next couple chapters, then I’ll start posting again.

it has been a very long time!

I suppose i just felt really weird writing it now that Harry’s engaged you know and I didn’t really want to but....I may pick this up again. I have chapters that were written a while ago that I just never posted because something felt weird.

I guess I also lost confidence in my work as well which was probably the main factor why I stopped posting because I love this story and the characters but yeah.

I’m going to sort things out on the blog and then decide what to do with it all.

The drive to the villa was a longer journey than Kimberly had anticipated but Mia had her attention the entire ride. It didn't take long for the young girl to begin avidly having a conversation with her, a smile present on Kimberly face throughout the entire conversation. The two of them had an awful lot in common, such as having never ridden a horse - a secret they had chosen to keep to themselves-, a love for sweet baked treats and an abundance of energy. Playing an assortment of games in the car, Harry watched on pleasantly focusing in and out of the conversations he should have been concentrating on. Zara, Catherine and Kimberly made a point to include the children in all their conversations until they realised the fatigue that had begun to plague them, it didn’t take long for them to fall asleep. Mia’s hand gripped onto Kimberly's thumb as she had been trying to keep her attention the entire trip and head resting on her shoulder. Kimberly had also managed to have been worn out but the interaction, as she napped beside the young girl, a smile etched into her face in sleep. It was only around six o'clock when the car pulled up into the parking bays at the villa, marking the destination as over. The villa was big and spacious, surrounded by nothing but fields. The villa itself was almost identical to the stable but it was larger in size and  gave a more homely atmosphere. Mia was carefully lifted out of the car by Mike, whilst Zara gently nudged Kim back to her senses. Both women let out a soft yawn, giggling at each other before exiting the car. Meeting William, who held George in his arms, and Kate outside, they all made their way inside before being Kim was led off with the girls to her room. Upon arrival in the spacious room. Her bags had been placed by the foot of the bed but all she could focus on was how soft the bed looked through sleep clad mind. She wasn't the only one thinking so because it didn't take long for the three young women to all be fast asleep on the queen sized bed without having gotten changed.

I have so many people to thank, from people who have been there to support me since the very beginning to people who have just found this blog and gave it a chance. As someone who has always been very insecure about their writing the response I have so wonderfully received from all of you has been something absolutely amazing. I know it sometimes takes me an age to write the next chapter but you’ve stayed with me and I just want to produce the best I can for you.

I know 100 is not a lot for some people but it’s absolutely phenomenal for me and I could never have imagined to ever reach that goal let alone in the 6 months this blog has been live.

What this post however has managed to teach me, is that I don’t tell these people that I love an appreciate their work as much as I do even though I also seek the same kind of validation from you guys but you guys are so much better at giving that than I am. Also, I can’t forget to thank @royalfanficcentral and @royalfanficcollection for spreading the word about my story which I appreciate and love you guys for so much!

You all, all 107 of you, have such a big place in my heart because you support and encourage me to continue my art and I could not ask for anymore love than that. Even if your someone I look up to and you don’t even know who I am, I thoroughly appreciate your existence on this platform because you have helped shape me into the writer that I am today. I would mention all of you but there are so many of you that I physically cannot.

I have decided to dredge up and post a quote on quote ‘missing’ chapter for you guys as a celebration. But this is here in place whilst I edit it. It’s a part of a chapter I deleted because I didn’t think it fit and I didn’t personally think you guys would have wanted to read so yeah. It’s a cut scene I suppose. I hope you enjoy that when it comes out but I’ll probably release chapter fourteen and then the cut scene so I don’t keep you waiting for the next chapter.

I was on holiday which is why I wasn't active and posting! I was supposed to inform you all but I completely forgot in the rush to finishing packing a xouole hours before we left. So I have returned home now and will start posting soon. I wrote a couple chapter ideas and the majority of chapter 14 so it'll all be up soon enough I promise.
