Had one of the most nerve wracking nights in a long time. I got home and only about 10 minutes after I look up from my kitchen and there’s a man looking in through my living room window. IN MY BACKYARD. I screamed and he hit my window before running off. Called the cops and they searched the area, but found nothing. Apparently every few months they get a call about a man peeping through front windows but he never escalates.

I’ve always kept that particular window open for my animals to look out. But I’ve always been a little worried like “what if someone is watching me?” We live in a very safe neighborhood so it’s never been more than a little thought in the back of my head. It was just so jarring looking up and locking eyes with a stranger looking into my home like that.
