MOTH FOUND???? OUTSIDE MY WINDOW??? SLAMMING INTO IT AGAIN???? I NEVER LET IT OUT THERES NO WAY IT COULD HAVE GOTTEN OUT BUT ITS THE ONLY MOTH I HAVE SEEN THAT LOOKS LIKE IT AND ITS THE ONLY MOTH THAT KEEPS SLAMMING INTO MY WINDOW LIKE THIS SO IT MUST HAVE GOTTEN OUT SOMEHOW???
That was the wrong moth. The real moth appeared to me right as i was falling asleep by being very loud and then hitting my ceiling fan. It is okay and i turned the fan off and it landed on the drawer of my dresser so i took the drawer off and carried the moth outside. Then i tried lightly tapping it to get it off my drawer and on to the porch and it decided it didn’t want to and then got on my hand and refused to get off. It started boxing my other hand when i tried to gently poke it to disturb it off. Also further research implies it was an Imperial moth so chances are i am okay and im not going to die. It is 3 am and my moth journey is finally over goodnight everyone
Maybe its the moth toxins but that moth has made me feel better. Sitting there for a second with the moth holding onto my hand and hearing every single bug thats active at 3 am on a summer night and like, we’re so small and theres things even smaller, and theres a moth holding onto my like its life depends on it and in that moment i am nothing more than a thing for a moth to hold onto, and i am so small, and eventually my body will rot and be recycled into the earth and become something new, something for another moth to land on billions of years in the future. My fate is inevitable and my life will end too soon and i am content with knowing i will be forgotten and i will live on. I was so stressed about so many things and holding that moth made everything feel so far away, so small. None of it really matters, its stuff i’ll have to worry about out years down the line. The future the past and the present are relative and all exist together but for me as an individual the only time that really matters is right now, the only thing that mattered when i was holding that moth was holding the moth. Every single one of my other problems that i was lying in my bed worrying about didn’t matter because the moth forced me into the moment and i couldn’t stress about anything else because there was a moth. And it was on my hand. And i needed to do something about that. And now i dont and yet my problems dont feel as bad. I’ll figure it all out as i go, for now all i can do is just be. There is no rush to figure things out, there is no need to have a strict plan, i have time. Thank you imperial moth.
