Did you know that the Imperial Moth (Eacles Imperialis) is a species on the decline? These beautiful moths are typically found throughout much of the American continents though they are getting harder and harder to find. Part of that is their natural camouflage to look like discarded leaves but other parts are due to habitat loss, pesticide use, or introduced predators to control other insects.

AMAZING LOVELY LADYY I MET YESTERDAY. There was two of them but the other was flying around all crazy!! I think she was freshly hatched bc while handling her she did the lil squirting out excess fluid thing ASWELL as not rlly knowing how to fly very well.
