This is Alexander and Damian- Alexander didn’t adopt Damian, Damian adopted him. He’s still not sure how he ended up caring for a teenager but hey he’s not about to fail in his duties as a father. He loves his boy to bits and Damian loves him back, even if he has trouble conveying it sometimes. Hey, it’s a Wayne family curse and he’s like twelve shut up.

Bro like. Imagine you come across these two kids, the lone survivors of a village massacre. You don’t know how to help them process the grief of losing everything they’ve known. You take them with you. You probably shouldn’t but you can’t leave these two kids all alone. You get attached.

You break several rules to sneak them on board when you leave the planet. They don’t stay hidden very long.

And you’re trying to get to know these kids, they’re basically your daughters now, the whole battalion is raising them, and so you try to get to know them like

“You two are very close,” you say offhandedly.

“Cuz we’re married.” Amari says. “Duh.” She says.
