For example I've been watching Calvin on YouTube for about 6 months now, recommended by my friend. Some may remember him when he was in Minecraft Ultimate with Technoblade (RIP). His longest running series on his horror account is From The Fog, currently on season 3.

Honestly love all his horror mod lets plays because of the way he goes about them. You can feel the genuine terror from him in circumstances, hyperness on overdrive, and yet he still leaves in the quiet mundane moments. I believe he includes these to add suspense, because he does include quiet moments just before some sppoky shenanigans happen, but even so I'm obsessed because he genuinely plays out of love for the game.

People in comments say "it's scripted!!" a lot of the time, and I agree to an extent, but you can still get that sense of authenticity. Like yeah, he or someone else goes in to position NPCs like Herobrine and Herobree(Alex), but with others like TMFtF and TOWW, he doesn't have nearly as much control over them so he's just as surprised as viewers
