I had to buy eggs again because it's winter and mine aren't laying much. As I was picking up cage free eggs I had the strong urge to cry over caged chickens who never get to forage and don't get hugs even though most chickens probably wouldn't enjoy hugs.
Still can't believe it
I, almost literally, can’t believe I’m pregnant. This is just so crazy and too good to be true. I mean, obviously I know I am- I just can’t get it to actually sink in. I keep waiting for someone to tell me it’s a joke. I’ve been wondering if this is an infertility thing, or just a pregnancy thing in general. Very mild symptoms aren’t helping solidify this for me either…
Might be an infertility thing because i feel the samr way although I have no basis for comparison
Another, happier update!
I had my second blood draw yesterday, and when I called for the results, the nurse said my levels did go up, but didn’t EXACTLY double, so she’d have the doctor take a look at them and call me in the morning.
So he did call and he said that he’s not concerned at all, and that since they did go up, it’s a good sign. Just to be absolutely sure, I’m going in for another ultrasound on Monday, so maybe we can finally see if baby’s where it’s supposed to be or not. I’m confident that things will be okay!
I hope Monday brings even better news!
The one good thing about this subchorionic hemmorhage is that I'm getting monitored frequently. It has caught up measurement wise and looks more like a baby this time. I'm so amazed. It's just in there minding its own business and growing and changing and all I have to do is give myself a shot once a day and make sure I don't die? Is this real life? It feels too easy.
That’s it. I think we are now NTNP. Husband is applying for new jobs all over the country, so wherever we end up, we will apply to be foster parents. Foster to adopt, that is. I will not be on here a lot, just gonna lay low and take care of myself ❤️
We were trying to foster to adopt and the person giving the information session recommended straight adoption because there were slightly fewer requirements. That could vary state to state. I hope you can get it done. I would start looking to see when the next info session is for your area. There's only 2 per year in my area. Hugs to you.

Cacophony of weird dreams
All interconnected.
Apparently the house I grew up in was still standing and we lived there and had a horse who was old and sick. We were trying to find someone to put her down but oh suddenly we had 2 more horses and they cheered her up and one I think it might have been a centaur because it talked and we were so proud of him for talking.
But no it wasn’t a centaur and they were small horses because they all came inside and laid down on our couches like big dogs.
Then Gilmore Girls was real and I was in Luke’s diner during Christmas trying to decide which was more important to take a picture of: the gazebo or the diner. Why I could only take one, I don’t know. Also Lorelai was very pregnant. The woman would be near 50 by now.
Then I was on the way to a doctor’s office, the office of the one I had seen at the second hospital because apparently she was my ob, and I was waiting to see her when I woke up.
