bright brown eyes met blue as imogene found the boy holding her (( gaze )). a small smile curving on bright lips as she raised her glance to look over her furry friend. there was something about the boy’s TONE that didn’t sit right with her. his striking features not matching with the sound of his VOICE as she let out a sigh. heels clicking against marble floor as she walked toward the two, standing beside him as she reached out to take the feline. eyes held to his once again as she cautiously took her friend away, disappointment on her lips as she held the creature safely in her arms — one hand holding him securely against her chest as another ran a hand down it’s soft fur. “this is my property. but you are MORE than welcome to leave. unless you want me to get the (( sicurezza )) to personally show you the door.”

a small yelp left imogene’s lips as she felt herself collide with the person standing around the corner. her view having been blocked by a stack of books she’d been carrying which were now were scattered across the floor. a small giggle filling the air as she stumbled back trying to catch her balance. “oops !! i’m so sor—” an apology cut short as she finally realize who it was she’d bumped into. the petite princess taking another step back as she looked at the girl with wide eyes, wishing she could be anywhere but there. “i’m sorry, i have to—go, i’m .. going,” she mumbled as she bent down to grab the books she’d dropped, trying to get as far away from the other girl as possible. “wait, what ?? but they said i’d find my lost ( ( p u p p y ) ) down here !! .. i thought they meant the animal shelter ??”

a small giggle left red stained lips as the raven hair girl agreed. messy waves bouncing up and down as imogene agreed whole heartedly with what the blonde princess was saying. for such a simple drink, it was astonishing how many people could manage to mess it up. too much water, not enough chocolate, no extra yummy toppings — the possibilities of how to mess up the perfect cup of hot chocolate were endless and quite frankly, disappointing. “right ?! especially considering this is the time where hot cocoa is in demand but i don’t think i’ve yet to meet anyone who knows the recipe for the perfect cup ??”   

bored was an underestimate of how the young girl currently felt. if there was anything more she HATED than attending to royal duties, it was getting to the places said events would occur. already properly dressed from head to toe, she had to ENDURE an hour long ride, all while trying not to squirm in her seat from how much the fabric itched. the tiny brunette could only wait for the second she could TOSS the dress aside and hop back into the comfort of her cotton tee and pair of jeans. an outfit not ‘suitable’ for a princess according to her mother but one imogene would happily wear for the rest of her life. but as miserable as the girl currently felt, she didn’t let it bring her down. instead, she focused on the beauty of it, looking out her window gasping and awe’ing at the sights while she hummed softly under her breath. her attention in her own little world until will’s CRY for their mother brought her back into reality. a PUZZLED looked on her face as she turned to look at her mother in protest before snapping her head back at her older brother. “i am not !! i wasn’t even doing ANYTHING !!” her lips parted as she glared at the older boy, “it’s called a family event, einstein.”

“whoops !! i’ll take that,” imogene muttered, grabbing ahold of the bottle as she took it away from the baby and set it down on the coffee table. her eyes looking back up at drew with an ‘annoyed’ look on her face, as she tried to hide the smirk already curving on her lips while trying to keep her tone serious. “should i ask why there’s a beer bottle WITHIN a child’s reach or just assume you have a mini drunk on your hands ??” (( @drew-fitz )) 

imogene: but also i don't need protection ):

“well .. for what it’s worth i know how to tune a cello? though, come to think of it, i think it’s more of the fact that you’re the only person who has made that information public. i think they’ve made you the piano tuning girl.”

a frown made its way to imogene’s lips, presenting itself for only a few seconds as the princess shrugged off her disappointment before her everlasting signature smile placed itself back on a pair of red lips. her head nodding eagerly, long black curls bouncing as she tugged a little HARDER at the boy’s wrist. “yes !! the woods, silly !! where else do you except going on a hike to ??” the girl paused, lips pursed together trying to stop herself from saying something ‘mean’. “i’m not fragile !! i’m as good as any other huntsman out in the woods !! besides, i’ll have you know i’m an honor student with a PERFECT gpa. dumb is the last thing i am. now if you really want to see annoying, keep resisting and you’ll see.”

“Hi, hi!” Imogene waved, blowing a kiss at your character as she giggled, one hand reaching to grab the person in front of her’s as she pulled at them, “Now, come on! Let’s go! The woods await!”

Imogene: The library. I don't know, I'm a little scared. I do but didn't they tell us to stay where we're at?
