She pulls back a little bit, pulling her hand away from Yua's face, if only so she can lay back on it carefully.

"Oh..." It was a small sound, but it broke whatever dam that had been holding her tears back as they started rolling down her cheeks. Everything had happened so fast that she hadn't even been able to process for scared she had been. "It...it's... I've heard the stories. But actually seeing it happen... I though I lost you."

You can not dwell on something that has already happened, without invaliding yourself. Yua will have to learn this.

"Huh?" She didn't even realize what she was doing, slipping into old habits so easily in reaction to be overwhelmed. "But you're not bothered, and you were the one that was struck by lightning. So it feels silly to be scared now even if I was earlier."

She raises her hand, a quiet gesture for Yua to come over to her, so she can lace their fingers together gently. "When we adventure, things happen that we can't always be prepared for, & that's okay. It's part of why I like adventuring so much. I'm still here, aren't I? Isn't that the most important thing?"

Clearing her throat, she reached over to grab the drink. "This should be more pleasant than that coffee you had earlier."
