One piece ladies.
te veo, te sueño, te extraño
after i drew oni yamato, i became aware of the byakko yamato fan theory so i drew another design for that haha
ah??
WAIT. is the fire still burning or is that like lense flare or something???
the fire is still burning! it's just also sitting in about an inch and a half of melted ice slush.
I found this setup because I smelled smoke and followed it across the ice because what the hell
Don't sit in that chair. I mean. Come on. That's some peak cryptid energy, right there. DON'T SIT IN THEIR CHAIR.
of course not?? that's not my chair. it would be very rude
I mean...the MORE I look at this, the weirder it is. It's not...facing the ocean. The ocean is not what they want to look at. As if they are a sea cryptid ready to just kind of Take In The Land.
(I suppose it could also be because of them wanting to stay downwind of the fire smoke, but...still? ???? Definitely leaning toward this is a naiad checking out what The Land Folk are up to.)
(that's not the ocean, it's the ice. the white parts look like foam on waves, but they're drifts of snow!)
this setup is sitting on about a foot and a half of lake ice over a couple dozen feet of water. which really puts this whole nonsense into perspective
OP gradually putting t- [checks pronouns] themselves into cryptid territory over this post. That's a whole ass landscape of ice
Don't Worry About It
I'm worrying.
You've never wanted to just sit in silence on the ice?
No, but I often want to mysteriously vanish, so fair point.

reblog this to be an annoying faggot at ur followers
Yeah, that doesn't prevent pregnancy.
Dfgajagakala it’s so you don’t get a UTI 😂
*facepalm* So, given that sex ed in the US is a tire fire:
Vagina-having people have a shorter urethra, which means we’re more prone to UTIs because the bacteria doesn’t have to travel as far to get up into your bladder and cause a problem.
Which means if you’re exposing your bits to bacteria (as with sex), peeing will flush out bacteria in the urethra. (Urine isn’t actually sterile - that’s a myth - but you’re *supposed to* have a little bit of bacteria - that’s how bodies work. But it still flushes things out that shouldn’t be there.)
Oh! You should ALSO pee after you masturbate, especially if it involves penetration with fingers/toys/etc
So I’ve blocked like five transphobes on this post, which I feel should have been relatively uncontroversial.
If you’re one of the people saying “You meant ‘women’”, fuck you. I meant “people who have a vagina, regardless of their gender or lack thereof”, and you can go fuck yourself with a cactus.
And you should pee afterward, so you don’t get a UTI.
Lmao! That last line! 😂
Keep this in mind if you recently started having sex again after vaginoplasty. It's a super important habit to get into. Especially if you weren't super careful about it preop.
i do appreciate the way that we tumblr users have evolved our language to discuss our feelings related to The Character/The Guy. you used to have to just say he was hot or he was making your ovaries explode or he was a precious cinnamon roll even if he looked bad or was just kind of standing there or whatever. now you can say things like “the creature” or “he looks so sopping wet here” or “i want to chain him to my radiator” like it’s just more inclusive and adaptable to the situation
as someone on the asexual spectrum, this shift in language genuinely made me feel more comfortable and happy in fandom spaces. i've never once wanted to lick a man's abs. i HAVE wanted to chain a man to my radiator. and that's beautiful.

we need to do something about that big rock outside the castle because enemy knights have figured out that if you charge up it at the right angle you can launch yourself onto the ramparts and start killing our archers
Goku and Gohan (with inspiration from Naseer Pasha’s design for flavor)
just casually leaving this here for no particular reason
You know what? Fuck it I'm adding more context. Sesame Street has talked about the topic of death more than once and it's done with such gentle carefulness without watering down or censoring the heaviness of the situations. It treats heavy subject matter with respect and dignity and has been for DECADES. From the early 1980s:
To 2025:
Hell, they even cover the devastating heaviness of MASS SHOOTINGS without censoring or watering anything down.
They've been doing this for YEARS, and it's ALWAYS handled with dignity, respect, seriousness, understanding, and love.
Whenever I see people censoring words because it "might offend" someone or the big ad companies that are currently trying to run everything? I just want to say to them: "What? Is Sesame Street too mature for you?" Because really...what the hell are we doing.
I'm back with even more examples! Sesame Street once again to this day is out here handling extremely difficult subject matter with incredible care and respect. "We can't let kids learn about uncomfortable things!" Oh, really now? Even though they're things that happen in everyday life that they'll face one day at some point anyway? Interesting. Let's see what else this show has covered that people (for some reason) think should be avoided and hidden. Here's more on death of loved ones and greif:
Or how about when someone is put into the foster care system because their home isn't safe anymore and their needs aren't being met?
Maybe some discussions about group therapy/getting help and support?
Hey look! Here's a segment about gender expression vs taught expectation, including unlearning harmful biases and what to do when you hurt someone on accident because you didn't know it was wrong!
Look! The topic of race and diversity! The importance of unity and equity!
They even also have a more allegorical take on discrimination and being looked down on for who you are, featuring Big Bird. The conflict is about how he's not being let into a club because the one bird running the club personally decided he didn't want someone like Big Bird there.
Big Bird goes out of his way to keep changing parts of himself in order to "prove" he can fit into this club if he just changed enough. The truth comes out though, and there's nothing he can do to gain the approval of that bird. He will never be good enough in his eyes, and Big Bird starts to hate himself. His real friends see this finally put their feet down, emphasizing that you should never change yourself just to fit into one singular narrow idea someone else has.
There's A LOT of different situations this can be an allegory for. Racism, sexism, homophobia, basically ANY form of exclusion is put on full blast in this 15 minute clip. Sesame Street can be both blunt and allegorical when approaching difficult topics, and it NEVER misses or looses the point.
It does an exceptional job in both styles of representation WITHOUT watering anything down. The more sanitized everything gets, the more radical Sesame Street is suddenly considered, hence why so many "particular groups" want it gone. Hmmm! I can only imagine why that could be, in this current political climate! (I'm being sarcastic)
When Sesame Street is suddenly labeled as "questionable" or "politically/agenda motivated" content...it says A LOT about where we currently are and who gets to decide what's "best" for kids or not. Don't fall for the censorship and topic-dodging excuses that are covered by the "But think of the children!!!" movement. Never fall for it, because you know which side you're on if you do.
Sesame Street proves kids can be taught and trusted with learning about these topics when it's handled with the right amount of understanding and care. It shows what all this "controversy" is all really about. What it's always been about, actually.
Don't fall for it, always side with Sesame Street.

We write for ourselves, but we post for others.
(this came out of a conversation in the comments on a previous post about an author threatening to stop updating a fic because of lack of engagement)
So there’s this idea that fic writers should write for themselves and not care too much about stats or engagement,
and i totally get the sentiment behind that. if writing becomes entirely about stats and external validation, something important does get lost - creative freedom and joy, conviction in your own writing
but i also think:
“i write for myself, but i post for others.”
because posting fic is not only self-expression. it’s social. ao3 is called an archive, but emotionally it often functions as a community space.
people post for connection, for participation, for others to bear witness to their pain and trauma and grief,
and i don’t think most people are asking to be admired so much as acknowledged. there’s something deeply human about wanting another person to encounter something that mattered to you and go:
“ok, yeah, I see what you were trying to say. I see you.”
especially because fanfic is often people processing very real feelings through fictional characters at a safe distance, one step removed,
and then uploading that deeply personal thing into a shared archive and hoping somebody else might connect with it.
And i think that’s why it hurts so much when you summon up the courage and post a fic into the void and you get nothing back,
and then it’s like,
does anyone see me? does anyone even care?
This is obviously very true. And the posted thing doesn't even have to be deeply personal: when I post something silly that I nevertheless worked hard on and ended up enjoying as a story, and it doesn't click for others, I question my taste, my reality, and my place in the human race.
(Well, sometimes I am sane and shrug and move on. But sometimes I really wonder...)
Don't worry @a-tehta you will always be one of the GOATs for me
But so real, as someone who jumps into a fandom about 20 years too late and only writes for the most unpopular ships
It can get pretty lonely to have no one to squeal with
Even though I firmly stand by the idea that you shouldn't center your hobby around popularity and fame
Does she not realize she’s the Nazi in this scenario? It's not a bad metaphor; she’s actually correct for a change.
if you’re trans and you have any level of background in STEM I do think you’ve got some level of duty to help preserve the information they’re working to destroy.
whether it be through traditional archival methods or by educating your people about HRT, how it works, what it does, what it doesn’t do, and risks associated, it’s becoming increasingly clear to anyone with an ear to the ground that nobody is coming to save us.
when myself and my peers were growing up, there was a noticeable absence of queer elders. 40 years ago it was AIDS. now it’s this. if you don’t work to preserve our science and our history, nobody else is going to do so either.
I’m begging you on behalf of our children, be they blood relatives or not. preserve yourselves. preserve the knowledge that got you here today. educate those who ask you earnestly.
we are all that we have.
