You guys know my profile picture comes from the doujin Gracias (a reprint of various doujin stories with various names, including Welcome home my Boy).

Turns out I somehow found Shin Minazuki, the TRUNKS GOD HERSELF, and… I got to commission her!

For the longfic!!

So I dropped some refs and said what the fic was about and that, “you do you with it, thank you for loving Trunks so much”

And the result is 😭😭😭😭😭 perfect

Y'know...Garp? As in Monkey D. Garp????

Now I'm just imagining a little baby Rosi, still freshly traumatized but getting braver, being introduced to Sengoku's very close personal friend: The Monster That Eats Children, the very large, very loud, Monster. Which is about the point Rosi starts screaming at the top of his lungs and throws himself into the ocean to in an attempt to swim away from Marineford.

And for extra trauma points, since Sengoku ate a devil fruit, fucking Garp has to be the one to jump in after him. So Rosi, who is desperately swimming for safety, glances backward only to see The Monster rapidly gaining on him. It's at this point that, due to the sheer amount of pure terror Rosi is currently experiencing, he, very reasonably, passes the fuck out and starts drowning.

When Rosi wakes up in Marineford's medical bay, with Sengoku at his bedside and Garp nowhere in sight, he immediately burst into tears, throws himself at Sengoku, and starts sobbing promises about how he'll be good and begs Sengoku not to feed him to The 'D' Monster.

Which is the very fun way that Sengoku gets to learn that he's adopted/kidnapped a baby ex-Celestial Dragon.

I found these in my stash (looking for something else ofc) and immediately wanted to do a Luminous Nine Patch.

Now, now listen.

I know I seem to be making a few of these.

But they turn out gorgeous! How could I not make them?? They’re so easy and fun to do.

Look at this thing! I love her! She’s gorgeous!

She’s bold and dramatic and demands attention!

I think this one is one of the best Luminous Nine Patch quilts I’ve done.

I was correct. The black cuddle and binding are just fab with this.

I did actually find a more golden yellow thread called Dessert Sunset that I used instead of orange to quilt with, and I love it.
