I get it, I do. For most people 'pretty' doesn't just fall from the sky, including me. I look like a piece of fucking roadkill when I wake up first thing in the morning. It took a lot of practice to get my makeup routine right, and when I started pushing it with my weight, I got off my ass and worked hard to lose almost 30 pounds. I could easily be a 30-pound heavier, makeupless bag of ugly, but knowing how good it feels to be confident in the way you look and more importantly the way you feel is just so, SO much better. If there's something you can improve, do what you need to do to improve it. Wear makeup. Eat right. Exercise. Don't let your fear define you and hold you back.
