    Dakota stared at the floral dress suit with a disgusted expression. His girlfriend was lucky that he wanted to make her happy, because he wouldn’t have entertained this idea otherwise. Black jeans, band tees, and faux leather jackets were his aesthetic. Not whatever rainbow bullshit Wren tossed in his direction. “ This is fuckin’ hideous ! I know we’re going to a wedding together and it’s like - summer themed or whatever. But I don’t wanna show up looking like the floors at your school. Do you really want to be reminded of all the times those little punks projectile vomited on the carpet?”

Wren stared up at dakota, bottom lip poked out in an exaggerated pout. “This is the nicest one I saw! Look, the background of it is black and the flowers are kind of muted so you’re not going to be the center of attention. I thought it would look nice on you.” She shoot the hanger that held the jacket of the suit, the dress she’d decided on matched the color of the flowers of the jacket and she thought it was pretty clever. “Kotaaaaa, you could at least try it on for me. And if you don’t like it then we’ll try something different.” Wren loved themed events and more times than not did whatever she could to match it without being too over the top, and it was especially true this time around considering it was a wedding they were going to but she’d asked if it was okay and gotten the green light. “Also don’t talk about my kids like that, they’re old enough to not projectile vomit anymore.”
