you’re christian but pro life?? in the bible it quite literally states that if a man strikes a pregnant woman and forces her to miscarry he should pay a fine but not further, but if you kill the woman you get capital punishment. thus stating that an unborn fetus is less then an actual living woman.
and that same chapter also said that if you kill a slave then you only have to pay a fine as well. Slaves were just as alive and human as everyone else was, but that didn’t keep people from viewing them as less than everyone else. Babies are in the same situation nowadays; people don’t give them any right to anything and don’t even care if they die. Except now people realize how horrible slavery was. I truly hope that someday in the future abortion will be the equivalent to slavery and black oppression today. Also, back then they didn’t have the technology we do to know that there is a baby developing in the woman’s womb, for all they know it just shows up when she goes into labor. On top of that not only am I christian, but I’m catholic too, and what does that have to do with being pro life? I don’t or have heard of anyone who’s pro life and not Christian or believes in God. Of course, you don’t have to be that to believe that killing babies is horrible.
in which book is this please?
exodus, but I can’t remember the exact verses and chapters
