Lately I just want to exist in a way that feels natural. No over explaining, no performance, just moving through life in a way that makes sense to me. Slower, softer, more intentional. Less about proving, more about being.

I feel like a lot of liberals, especially the younger generation, don't really have any core beliefs other than "let everyone do as they please!" they're radical individualists. If something makes me happy, then it's good. If something makes them happy, then it's good because who am i to get in the way of someone else's happiness and freedom. No structural analysis. No attachment to anything other than individual personal fulfilment. Very spineless imo and antithetical to socialism and feminism.

not in a depressed way. i mean i've mentally detached myself from everything that bothers me because i just can't afford to care anymore.

i think it’s like, is there friction or not. we live in a more and more frictionless world and in many ways that’s great (home appliances have liberated women from so much arduous and tedious labor, there is far less slavery in the world now) and in many ways it’s bad for us because everything worthwhile is also gated behind friction. our current state of relatively low friction comes to us from people who for 1000s of years fought relentlessly past friction to create frictionlessness. and once the friction is gone we forget it was ever there. we become dumber and more lazy than the people who saved us from it. wall-e. everybody watch wall-e again. wall-e
