I think that if the world expanded just by 5cm total circumference, a beautiful, glittering wound could open up just for me, in just about the right shape for my body, and at just the right temperature. There’s something so fun and good about buying birthday presents for my niece. I think it’s that I grew up receiving not a lot gifts and getting mostly practical things when I did get gifts and now I’m able to get my niece fun things because she’s growing up middle class and doesn’t need socks or a rain coat or school supplies as gifts

I just googled this and… yes, it’s absolutely real.

And there are so many articles and videos and discussions. Like, the scientific community is buzzing about this.

So much research will have to be redone because the data was absolutely compromised, off by orders of magnitude, by using standard lab gloves.

The world is probably not horrifically contaminated by microplastics. Sterile laboratories, however, are contaminated by latex and nitrile gloves.

Thank God someone bothered to check.
