This whole album is amazing of course but this song in particular puts me in the biggest feels, every time... and the thing is, there's no good way to describe the effect it has. It's a world all its own. Like I could throw out all the same tired old terms like nostalgia, carthasis, anemoia/longing for something that feels impossible but so familiar. But it would still wouldn't capture it. And like I usually scoff at when people refer to songs as "religious experiences" but that kinda gets close to how I feel about this song, like, you just have to be there... you're slightly brought out of yourself but also even more aware of yourself at the same time... a genius song
