the nathan copying thing is obvious in more ways than one. its not just the idea of a christmas video but dont tell me the set up isnt copied pretty much EXACTLY like p21. imagine being the p21 girls and seeing videos that are almost identical to something you have already done. its just a little weird imo. at least try to be a little authentic if you're going to be posting it online

Authentic is crazy, this is dance class, it’s supposed to be educational and fun. Every studio rec - elite across the entire country is probably doing a Christmas combo or Christmas video project, the students and teachers are probably having fun, learning how to perform to camera, experiencing new ways of learning and working, who gives a f about copying, for real

#I don’t think dressing up in red and green and doing a Christmas dance with your students is high art worthy of this kind of criticism #dance teachers don’t work for randos who follow their Instagram!#they teach their paying students

Ok how do these choreographers fund all these ‘concept videos’, like is everyone just volunteering their time/talents? I get it when there’s a few friends or a collective/company shooting in a public space but how are there so many vids with dozens of dancers, hair and makeup done, venues in NY/LA, full shooting crew… I’m perplexed

leave room for change is honestly the most underrated p21 group dance , it is literally incredible ive never seen such cohesion within a team they look so connected its amazing

overshadowed this year i fear

I wanna predict some unhinged things that might happen with all these thousands of dancewear ambassadors

- dance mom or dad line, with an ambassador that is an influencer dance parent

- more studio-wide sponsorships

- a tie in with another sport via influencer siblings or a couple

- webseries/documentary on one of these brands produced by them
