Isabelle held onto the pile of books in her arms clumsily, worried that the hard covers would topple over and spill all over the library’s floor. At least she hoped that none of them would fall before one fell off the top and she groaned, knowing that she would yet again have to drop all the books back down to grab the other. “Could you do me a tiny favor? And possibly grab that one book for me?”

Perdi was weaving her way through the library looking for children’s books she can possibly read out loud to her patients in the hospital. Perdi would prefer funny books to read, she loved the way the pediatrician wing would light up with laughter when she read those books. Her life made a little more sense in those moments. Browsing through the shelves she heard a thump coming from nearby. She saw a brunette that needed a little help with her books. “Definitely!” Perdi said politely, picking up the stray book. She glanced at the book the brunette dropped. “What book is this?” She asked.
