vorona  had  insisted  that  kaelis  stay  for  at  least  a  day  or  so  to  rest  and  try  to  relax  before  she  continued  on  her  travels.  a  wanderer,  she  had  become;  no  real  place  to  call  home,  no  ties  to  keep  her  in  one  place.  she  liked  it  that  way:  the  wind  on  her  face,  the  different  atmospheres  she’d  been  able  to  experience.  bravos  had  been  a  new  world  all  in  its  own,  vast  streets  with  full  markets,  people  as  she’d  never  seen  before.  The  pink-haired  woman  had  been  kind,  offering  her  room  and  board,  a  hot  shower,  and  new  clothes  to  wear  while  she  enjoyed  her  time  in  these  lands.  The  maiden  head  brothel  was  opulent.  kaelis  was  no  stranger  to  opulence,  but  this  was  more  delicate  than  the  riches  she’d  been  used  to  back  in  osvarra.  the  stained  windows  that  depicted  gorgeous  scenery  and  the  gold  and  pinks  inlaid  into  the  flooring  made  the  ginger  want  to  spend  hours  inside  these  walls.  a  man  with  an  eyepatch  led  the  ginger  down  the  halls,  a  middle-aged  man  seemingly  all  business  from  the  way  he  scowled  at  her.  kaelis  was  draped  in  blue  fabrics  that  pulled  at  her  waist,  revealing  her  rounder  frame.  The  girls  tending  to  her  had  helped  put  her  hair  into  braids  long  (  washed  )  strands  of  fire  were  pinned  and  wrapped  with  a  ribbon  to  pull  it  up  and  out  of  her  face.  amber-green  orbs  locked  onto  the  door  as  it  opened  in  front  of  her.  She  felt  out  of  place,  stiff  in  the  soft  silks  that  adorned  her  freckled  skin.  as  the  male  eyed  her  curiously,  kaelis  watched  until  the  door  closed  behind  him,  and  the  soft  voice  rang  out,  catching  her  attention  once  more.  she  was  gorgeous,  a  beauty  that  made  kae  stumble  over  herself  awkwardly  as  she  was  greeted.  “thank  you,”  she  began,  her  fingers  found  the  flowy  fabric  of  her  dress  as  she  prepared  to  attempt  a  clumsy,  yet  well-practiced  curtsy.  It  was  clear  kaelis  knew  how  to  be  a  lady;  it  just  came  as  a  struggle.  “wine,  would  be  delightful.  I’m  parched,”  she  admitted,  crossing  the  room  to  take  a  heavy  seat  beside  the  blonde  courtesan.  “I’m  not  interrupting  you,  am  I?”
