It came out different than I expected… the thing is, we don’t see Percy cry much in the books. Actually I don’t remember if he ever cries in the books 𝘢𝘵 𝘢𝘭𝘭. But I figured that if he would cry it would’ve been during the Percabeth reunion, right in Annabeth’s arms. I tried putting myself into his situation and there’s NO WAY that Percy didn’t doubt at least ONCE that Annabeth was something his brain had come up with in order to keep himself going and not an actual person…
