Cg! Shadow Milk & Cg! Pure Vanilla Headcanons
- [ ] Both Pure Vanilla and Shadow Milk are very protective and affectionate caregivers, they just express it in different ways.
- [ ] Shadow Milk notices everything, always a man for details. He will notice immediately if you are slipping. And will do certain things to make you slip further, like playfully gasping dramatically, his eyes wide: “Oooooh! Is that a baby, I see in front of me?!” and even if you deny it, he will insist. “Too big?! You are plenty small, if you were big, then how can I do this?” and he uses his levitation spell on you, makes a big show of being able to carry you with ease. “See?! The perfect baby to be the star of my play, hmmm? Just accept it, the director knows best!”.
- [ ] Pure Vanilla will get to you slip differently, be less direct about it. If he notices you are struggling to slip, he will help you with certain tasks. “Please, let me help you with that! Oh, it’s no problem at all!”. All with a kind smile, even helping with simpler tasks like helping you put on your shoes, getting a book from a higher shelf, things like that.
- [ ] If Pure Vanilla notices you are still struggling after, though, then he will gently pull you aside from any prying eyes. “Would you like to go to your room, little one? Now, please do not lie to me. I am the bearer of the light of truth, so it will not work. It is alright, dear, I am more than happy to care for you.”. Always in a soothing voice, letting you know he does not mind, that you could never be a ‘burden’ to him or anything similar, that he loves taking care of his little one.
- [ ] They are both good with regressors of any age. They like taking care of the little one together, but on certain occasions, one will take over completely if the other is not suited for it.
- [ ] For example: Pure Vanilla is better with emotions, if you are sad, crying, etc. He will be the one to take over and sit down with you to offer you comfort. Soft hugs and cuddles as he listens to what you have to say, offering gentle words of encouragement. He is good with tantrums, as well, he will sit patiently by your side until it passes.
- [ ] Shadow Milk will cheer you up in a less direct way. He will purposely act silly or tell jokes in order to make you laugh.
- [ ] If you are going out for the day, Shadow Milk will be the one to prepare your outfit. He loves making handmade outfits for his little one, making sure they are fashionable, but comfortable enough for a regressor to still be able to move around. Most of them are made in his colors, because he thinks you look adorable in them, but he will also make some in your favorite colors.
- [ ] Pure Vanilla, on the other hand, will be in charge of the bags. Getting it stocked up with all of the agere gear you will need: pacis, snacks, water, pull-ups (if you use any), any sensory items, meds, etc. Basically, anything that you will need.
- [ ] Pure Vanilla will ask you to hold his hand if you are in a big setting like a crowd, so that he does not lose you, since his eyesight in general is pretty bad and his staff can only see so far. He simply wants to make sure you are safe.
- [ ] Shadow Milk will act more chill about it, like he does not care. He lets you walk and explore all you like. But in reality, his eyes will be on you the entire time to ensure nothing happens to you. Even if he is looking away, the eyes on his hair are trained on you, and his magic is at the ready. Sometimes, if he deems the setting too crowded to properly watch over you, he will make sure you stay near him and does not let you walk off.
- [ ] If you are a younger regressor, they both do not mind carrying you or anything similar. Shadow Milk will playfully complain about how ‘clingy’ you are, but he secretly loves it and will sometimes be the one to initiate a carry or cuddle himself. Pure Vanilla can carry you with ease, he is surprisingly strong because of his shepherd days. Shadow Milk, on the other hand, will secretly use his levitation spell to carry you, since his dough is a little weaker than most.
- [ ] Shadow Milk makes the food, he is an exceptional cook from his Fount of Knowledge days. He will purposely make your favorite foods in order to make you smile.
- [ ] Pure Vanilla loves knitting you soft blankets, scarves, and similar things. If the season is cold, he will be the one fussing over you, making sure you are not too cold. And will similarly do so in the hotter seasons, making sure you do not get sunburnt. He will coddle you even if you complain about it, but will do so patiently. He simply does not want you uncomfortable or hurt in any way.
- [ ] Shadow Milk will make you stuffies, his sewing skills go farther than just clothes. You want a stuffy that looks like a unicorn? He will make it extra sparkly just for you. He will also personally make you custom pacis if you are young enough to need them, with pretty beads and laces and cute designs.
- [ ] Pure Vanilla, on the other hand, will buy you whatever you want in the markets. He does not mind paying for things for you, and will immediately give in, if you ask him for a toy you saw in the markets. His heart too soft to ever be able to say no to you, he loves seeing the bright smile on your face.
- [ ] Shadow Milk will be in charge of the games. If you are a toddler, kiddo or teen regressor. He will be in charge of the activities you do, so as to not make you bored. He is best with more energetic regressors, since he can keep up and can conjure magic and illusions to keep your attention. But is also fine with winding down and resting once in a while, too.
- [ ] Pure Vanilla is best with calmer regressors, so he will be the one to take over the activities in that case. He will take you on walks in his garden, telling you about the lilies or vanilla orchids. He will take you to see his sheep, so that you can pet their soft wool and play with them, as he supervises and gently reminds you to be careful. He will read you a book, or gently pet along your hair as you drift off to sleep. If you are a younger regressor, he will also prepare some warm milk and bottle feed you. He is especially great with babies.
- [ ] Shadow Milk loves telling you bedtime stories, he will make a grand show of it. He conjures up illusions and puppets, will make silly voices for each of the characters, you name it. One day he tells a story about a knight and dragon having an epic battle, the next about a mermaid whose song makes all of the fish dance. And then, he will tuck you in, with a kiss on the forehead. He will do this last action regardless of age (yes, even towards teen regressors or older).
- [ ] Their favorite thing to do, however, is to make a cuddle pile. They will be on either side of you, and let you sleep in the middle, shielding you from the world. Pure Vanilla’s warmth and Shadow Milk’s cold dough make the perfect balance to keep you comfortable.
((Hai!! I decided to make it as a ‘shared caregiving’ situation, rather than separate, because I have already written them both as cgs separately beforehand. As you can see I got a bit carried away with these lmao,, wrote way more than I thought I would but I just kept coming up with ideas! As I mentioned before, my regression is super tied to these two so I always love asks like these.
